It's absolutely wonderful that they were able to raise 1 student to where, with her nurturing personality they were able to release 1 of their newer babies back into the wild years sooner.

That Monti was able to be such a good adoptive mother, despite being orphaned, is the best testament to this program by the International Animal Rescue - they really managed to raise Monti in a way that a mother she didn't have would have done. And now another little orangutan orphan has an orangutan adoptive mother! Such great work.
Such a beautiful story but a true tragedy that you wonderful people have to do this work to help them.

Animals are flipping amazing. Sometimes we have to remember that humans can be amazing too though. Look at all those people who passionately care for these Orangutans. We can make a pretty awesome pair sometimes, animals and humans.
It's so sad that animals aren't valued like humans. Humans are animals too, we should help everyone. I will steal the kneecaps of people that leave their animals or torture them, I am GLAD that there's people like this 🥺❤️

The people that run these amazing sanctuaries and work so tirelessly for the betterment of the endangered species of the world, are the true heroes. I once read a quote that said "if you have a job that you love, you'll never work another day in your life" and I'm sure that these amazing people must feel that way. I for one have nothing but admiration for the work that these wonderful people do.

Monti is a wonderful and loving Mother. They will have a great life together as Mother and child. She will teach her adopted baby the way of life needed for survival. Beautiful story 😍❤
That was really beautiful. It's so difficult to really rescue and return animals to nature that you have to applaud every time it's possible.
That is so beautiful! Of course I got the weepies going. To see this amazingly resilient creature pay it forward and adopt a baby, to fulfill her need to mother and the babies need to be nurtured, loved and cared for, is one of the most wonderful things I have witnessed. She did not need to be taught to love, she was created beautiful inside and out, and just loves. And then, to take that baby back with her so that baby can grow up in the wild is beyond beautiful. I'm just out of words. Beautiful just seems to encapsulate everything about this story. I hope these two, as well as the rest of these poor orangutans, have long, happy lives.
This is why I call the Dodo stories the "heartbreaking to heartwarming" stories.

The story on Monty was such a beautiful story. A true story. Wish I could have been a part of it . To see all that mother and new daughter being together and not struggling to be together. A touching story for sure. Wish my body was able to get out their and do what u guys do to see those beautiful creatures learn from one another and teach one another . Become a troop or family if it is meant to be . A life story. No doubt.

They're so beautiful together! But a question popped up when I saw this. First, how old is Anggun? She doesn't look old enough to be able to find food for herself and still needs milk. I hope I'm wrong though. Maybe IAR still manage to. bottle feed her in some way if they feeding the released the adult orangutans.
