I want to protect my manga from moisture and have ordered Manga Bags from Ultimate Guard. 🤔 However, I'm wondering if it's possible to craft my own "bags" and achieve the same effect. For instance, I could wrap the manga in a roll of plastic wrap and seal all the edges with tape. This would likely be more cost-effective, and the wraps would be truly airtight. Otherwise, I'd have to buy 100 bags for 10 different manga sizes, and none of them fit properly or have varying amounts of air inside. Not only does it look bad, but it's counterproductive if there's air trapped inside. I and many others have already done this, namely covering textbooks with this type of plastic wrap. It's essentially the same thing, right? 🤷🏼♂️ And I'm willing to take the time since I'd be putting them in a bag anyway. So, the duration isn't really an issue. I would appreciate it if someone could help me with my "issue." Thank you! 🙏🏻
That collection is awesome. I’ve been collecting mangas for six years, and even much, much longer because I started getting them for the first time in 2011 when a friend gave me a Naruto manga. As far as my collection now, I have all of Naruto, all the current volumes of Boruto, all of Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball, all the current omnibuses of One Piece, a few volumes of Bleach, all of Yu Yu Hakusho, all the currently made volumes of Hunter x Hunter, every single Yu-Gi-Oh! volume as well as all the spin-off mangas of it, I’m working on finishing Rurouni Kenshin, I have all the current ones for My Hero Academia, One-Punch Man, all of Dr. Stone, Food Wars, Assassination Classroom, Demon Slayer, The Promised Neverland, some of Jujutsu Kaisen, Slam Dunk, Haikyu, D.Gray-Man, Claymore, Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family, Kaiju No. 8, Shaman King, Toriko, Gintama, Blue Exorcist, Undead Unluck, all of the current volumes of Black Clover, all of Death Note, the first volumes of all the JoJo parts so far, some of Inuyasha and Yashahime, some of Black Lagoon, all of Fairy Tail, The Seven Deadly Sins, some of Vagabond as well as all the Colossal Editions of Attack On Titan and all the Deluxe Editions of Berserk. I’m hoping to get a box set for Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul: Re. A good amount of these were hard to get since some weren’t sold where I am, I had to order some series from America like Yu Yu Hakusho, Shaman King, Toriko and Gintama. I like to have all my Shonen Jump mangas together and I personally prefer getting omnibus versions of manga so a lot of the ones I listed are in 3 in 1 omnibus editions. I wish a lot more had omnibuses, but I’m still super happy with my collection and can’t wait to get more. I also have a ton of different anime character collectibles from series like Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter, My Hero Academia and many others.
Actually your "organization method" is relatable for me. When you only have so much space and too many books, this is what happens. My organization method is mainly by how much I respect the work or how much I love the work, which I know is unusual.
This made me look at my old manga collection and I do have some rarer sets. Kodocha and saikano full set along with full metal panic!, chobits, and fruits basket. Plus the sailor moon books from 1999’s and early 2000’s.
I also want to buy a cabinet or shelf, but I'm not sure if I should just get an open one. Oh, and I don't like manga sleeves/bags. Wouldn't it be better to install a sliding door or simply buy a cabinet with a door to protect against light (yellowing), dust, and humidity?
Jealous of the Rave Master. I watched that on syfi channel when they had syfi anime monday or whatever they called it. The show kind of sucks but its pretty nostalgic to me.
I wish i knew what this was when I was younger!!! I watched everything that was on toonami, and whatever the other place was had anime I think it was called jetix or somethin lol

little late, but i will say haikyu was a little rushed at the end. it was done in a good way though, you wish it showed more, but its a satisfying ending, personally my favorite sports manga. (i couldn't get into slam dunk)

Those old CMX releases of Tenjo Tenge are censored. You need the omni's if you want the series completely uncensored in English.
