For everyone asking how long it took, you can see his progression in my other videos. I started training him around 9.5 weeks after he was adequately potty trained. Also, I get a lot of "how do I train him" questions. I don't really have time to do these videos right now. Maybe someday :D

Boomer has some new tricks to show off. Among the newer ones are moonwalk and bow. I am currently trying to combine back, come, and twirl into one command: line dance.
That is amazing how you shift from one comand to another so quickly with him, you have done so well

Finally, someone that cares enough to teach a pup how smart it can be. My Wall-EE can do all that too beginning at 5 weeks old, and my hat is off to you. Got a really good dog there and the reason is that you have loved it enough to work with it a lot. Just awesome.

People like this man...dedicated & committed, well-educated in training and pups/dogs, who understand positive reinforcement technique & consistent training using the building block method (teaching pieces then hooking them together to build a complex command), people who LOVE their animals and embrace the responsibilites involved? If he came to me for a pup I'd pay HIM to take 2! Luv Boomer too! WTG! :)

I think you confuse intelligence with obedience. It's not the same. Dog can be "clever" and don't give a piss about what man says :)
This was the most amazing video I have seen in a long time. I have three purebred labradors and I know they are extremely smart but I had NO idea that they could be trained to do so much at such a young age and to be so calm! I need to learn your techniques. That was just awesome!!!!!!
Some time ago, I bought a Labrador breed puppy, but I always had problems educating and taming him, he defecated everywhere, he barked at everyone. After seeing so many guides on the internet, I kept one and I can finally say that my dog is educated and I am very happy.

I can't wait until my puppy is old enough to start doing this. He's only 3 and a half months but he's learned 'sit', 'up', and partially shakes. lol. You really are a great owner for taking the time to teach Boomer all of those tricks at such a young age. :D

Why people make mean or hateful comments is beyond me, what's the point, besides pure ignorance. Great job training and yes most trainers start with food rewards and hand signals to accompany voice commands. Eventually food rewards and hand cues can be gradually faded out. You have an intelligent, attentive pup, you can see it in his expressions. Enjoy each other and thanks for sharing.
