We actually just got our hands on one. You are right about the sound though our time with it was short. I was really disappointed with the plastic upper 3rd. Surprised Alpha Theta chose this crappy material. Also seemed that the EFX switch was not built to last. But other than those two quirks and obviously the RMX routing, it's a very cool piece.
Yep. 👍 Mine sounds amazing too. Only negative for mine is that it really does showcase the production and engineering of tracks. Poorly produced tracks will sound trash on this thing. Well produced tracks sound absolutely amazing.
I think it’s important to point out that the phasing issue is not due to the mixers design. It is due to the RMX design. The same thing happens with every other mixer and that unit. It’s just not built for send return purposes it’s built for master effects.
That's not entirely true. Rmx works perfect on every other Pioneer dj mixer with send return. I have them all here. EfX-500 same issue and vestax isolator acts like an eq when running on send return.

I have heard from several people that you want to be very careful what device you put on the master insert loop on the Euphonia. The sound quality of the Euphonia is outstanding, but if you put a sub-par device on the master insert loop, it can ruin the warm sound coming from the Euphonia and basically negate most of what this mixer was built for. The Pioneer RMX 1000 is one example, I have heard multiple people say do not put a RMX 1000 on the master insert loop as it is not good enough sound quality, and it will significantly degrade the warm natural sound of the Euphonia mixer. If this is true, then the next question is, what is an example of a good device to put on the master insert loop that will maintain the warm high quality sound of the Euphonia mixer?

You can always use the channel input selector switch to cut off the source than trying to turn the dial down for instant cuts
