North Korean leader Kim Jong-un arrived in Russia on September 12, 2023, in his dark green bulletproof train, as seen from video released by Russian officials. Kim has been travelling by train for every state visit since becoming leader in 2011. A former North Korean official explained why Pyongyang’s ruling Kim family is in favour of this slow transport system.

Would appear to be more like an extension of his palace, on rails. Think of how much you miss trying to peer through the clouds at 30,000 ft. US president, it's two 747s, 10 car motorcade, another plane full of security personnel, all for one dude and his wife. Totally over the top.

Why did Kim Jong-un travel to Russia by train? Because it is tradition thing. Many years ago Joseph Stalin and Kim Il-sung, both prefered to travel by train. Now Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un, also both prefer to travel by train. Because trains are safer and more comfortable than planes. Also planes movements tracked by mandatory transponders and radars, but trains movements more private, hidden from public. Also his train protected from radars and fire attacks.
If he flew, his plane would have mysteriously fallen out of the sky.
And not before time.

Travel by train is since his grandfather and his father already does. Not just Russia only. Also they does travel by train to China and other Aisa nations too. So there's no suprise to him now. Atleast more safety then taking by plane. It just bc out there too many enemies. Who know what would be happen. Take a train this way is the best for him safety first. Agree with him taking a train 👍
