I have enjoyed the advents the past couple of years. All of these things are so new to me. I don’t understand how you keep those things under the tree with 2 cats in the house. I have one cat and she would be more than happy to turn that into her private apartment pad!!

Kay, you don’t need to be sorry that the pattern for the socks you wore isn’t available, it was just an fyi for others who liked the pattern. Keep showing all your socks you’ve knit, they are all pretty and I enjoy seeing them ;). I’m always amazed at your sock knitting talent, you make knitting them look so easy. Maybe someday I’ll give them another try, I even buy your sock patterns in anticipation of that ;p.

I really enjoy the advents being opened each day. I’m hoping at the end of Advent season you will show all the yarn from each advent together. I have never purchased an advent and would really like to see them together so I can make an informed choice. I realize that’s not something you’re going to want to do on Christmas Day, but maybe after the new year! It would be appreciated!
I'll have to try the peppermint truffles! They look delicious. Still loving the bag that the Canadian Yarn Dyer advent came in. It's going to be a wonderful extra large project bag! And the one you got from TSS - the polar bears are great. I keep looking at winter fabric, but my sewing machine is on the fritz, so it seems silly to buy fabrics.
I am absolutely the same when it comes to dinner xD we do cook for lunch and for dinner it’s usually just bread with nearly the same toppings over and over again. 😂
Homespun house looked like the same color everyday until I realized it is slightly darker.
It’s a fade, so it’s gradually changing. 🧶
That salad looks amazing even with too much dressing. Makes me want to start having more salads or at least more veggies

The kind of butter I use. I eat eggo pancakes with fresh strawberries. Lunch 1 or 2 slices of bread with smart balance and deli sliced turkey.

I have never seen the Avocado Now pouch - I am so excited to shop for it. I noticed a squirk of green on one of your salads and wondered what it was. oh yummy. I will snurf around and find it - guessing in the refrigerator section. Thanks for sharing.
Yep it’s usually in the refrigerated section of the produce area.
I was the one that made a comment about the wasabi haha The only thing green and that comes in a tube here, is wasabi (Im watching from Tokyo, Japan) - it was so interesting to learn that avocado came in a baggie like that! It may seem boring to show your food, but for us that do not live in the states, it is very interesting to watch :)) Thank you for always putting the videos together!
Funny almost every time I watch your videos the ad is for peppermint mocha creamer.

We use the smart balance butter too. I use to use turkey bacon all the time. Now it has to be the real thing. I have a chicken Kleenex box. It is a long box.

Loving today's advent yarns.. just wondering if it's a thing?..if you could send all those little cloth sacks back to A Homespun House to be used again next year and in return you got a little Advent discount. I wish I'd got your motivation today, I feel like I've gone round in circles and achieved very little, so it's definitely time to get my favourite WIP out and relax!

I love watching all the beautiful yarn and surprises. The only thing that tops that is seeing your adorable furbabies. I have 4 rescued cats, so pet photo bombs are always my favorite part of any video 😊

Oh my gosh, I love watching Dexter and Gracie playing. Makes me miss our dogs-they used to do the same thing. Well holy cow, I learned something new-squeezable avocado. Someone was a genius to think of that. I'm going to have to keep my eyes peeled for that. We love avocado too and that would make it so much easier than picking the perfect avocados from the produce section. I just knew your striped socks were going to be amazing!

I am knitting my YARNABLES November color. I looked for a nutmeg for contrasting cuffs etc. Settled on a garnet/ red and it is looking outstanding.

Thank you for sharing all of the fun goodies so far this season. The dogs remind me of my 2 dogs, one likes to try enticing the other to play by putting the toys right in front of her and then taking them and running. It's so fun to watch.

They are all getting along. I need to see if our groceries stores have the squeezable avocado, that’s a great idea. Alberta doesn’t always have the same things.

My goto breakfast is yoghurt with strawberry, blueberry and granola on top, sometimes a have a little bananaslices too on. Best breakfast I know of.

Monday & Friday I run 20-30 minutes and lift weights for 30 minutes. Tuesday & Thursday I do a high incline walk for 20-30 minutes and lift weights for 30 minutes. Wednesday I run for 20-30 minutes. Saturday I do a high incline walk for 20-30 minutes. Sunday is a rest day.
I use Madeline Moves app for weight workouts. Her weekly moves program.

Love your tissue box holder! I've crocheted one that looks like a gingerbread house. Twinkie Chan has a bunch of free patterns for them! Edited for the kitty shot!! Are they both black cats? I have 2 black cats and a brown tabby. Black cats are so full of personality. I just love them so much!

I’m sure it’s my mistake but it looks like every day the Homespun House advent yarn is the same - or extremely similar. Is that true, Kay? Perhaps this year’s advent is a gradient of the same color?? The other companies are all very different each day but that first one you open looks the same every day. Thanks for clarifying. Peace my friend!

Hi, just wondered what your opinion is about circular sock machines? I love hand knitting socks but obviously they take a lot of time. I’ve been looking at CSMs recently but the really cool ones are very expensive.
They aren’t for me, as the joy for me is in the process of knitting. But everyone should do what works for them.
