Alex 100 percent agree the more I play with it the more I realize how useful the configuration truly is. I'm making a 6 foot Rolanda 2.0 currently and the pj-890 We'll be a crucial part of it! Thanks Alex🍻
According to an internal document I have from Roland, it went on sale in 1981 and originally cost ¥60000. There's no other data though, like how many units were sold or anything like that. Very mysterious.
@@kemek3000 I would love to see that document.. You should send it to me on instagram if you ever get time.. Also , thank you for taking your time to watch my video.
I'm always searching for more information on this Elusive patch bay ! Where did u get them?? Was there any documentation with the new old stock one one? Thanks for watching and commenting, too, btw!
It's actually normally like this: If a patch point in the back goes to two or more in the front, those are OUTPUTS from a machine to be plugged into the back, and these are then called MULTIS. Rule of thumb: ONE output to several inputs, but not the other way around. So the patchbay's 1-2 are all multis for taking say some Stereo tape decks / vinyl turntables, cassettes, etc, into a multi output, so you could route those to more than one other device.
You know I really appreciate those kind words! Thank you for acknowledging my hard work! I got nothing but love coming from oregon! I.
