this is what I can conclude from the battle song 1: NME was shot in the head song 2: NME didn't care that he got shot song 3: NME died song 4: NME went to heaven
For anyone that’s interested, NME uses two melodies from two different movies in his last round: 1st one is the melody for the elves in LOTR the two towers when they come to the aid of Rohan at Helm’s deep, and 2nd is the melody that Mr. Tumnus plays for Lucy where she sees visions in the fire in Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I absolutely LOVE that he referenced these melodies!! Insane that years after this performance I am still finding out new information about it!!
I’m so happy someone else caught this. NME literally decides to end the whole thing by ditching the drops and transporting them to another world of timeless beauty and peace. So cool. Man brought magic into a room of dudes moshing and gave them a few moments of peace. That’s just the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time.
After whole 5 years after listening to it over and over again now i understand that second round of NME he risked his crown for it. What a track for me NME is the winner
i think he knew he had no material to win the battle, so he chose to demonstrate why he is one of the best artists of the looping and beatboxing scene, rather than just a standard looping round with a drop.
It's actually disappointing that he didn't win. He actually did something different and it was awesome. Rythmind has -50% chance of beating previous people such as Faya Braz or Saro. His style was basically a slightly better MB14. I've heard bigger and better loopers but I've never heard what NME did before.
Diarrhea Dan NME’s first and second round were amazing I will agree with u on that but keep in mind that rythmind used only one device despite being allowed a second. He hardly had any flaws and defeated people such as So-so and Balance in really close battles.
@@_mv05_ That doesn't matter. I've seen previous loopers use one device and make both of these guys look like hot garbage. He didn't do anything different or impressive as far as loopers go to make this battle really feel like he was that good. Look at Saro for instance. He smashed his competition to pieces, Faya braz absolutely demolished everyone he went against. I just really liked what NME did in comparison to the typical build up and drop looping.
I feel NME has more to show, waiting for him to really open up his music creativity to the world. His mind has crazy tunes stuffed within. He is unique. Love his attitude, he can make wonders with his uniqueness.

I was looking for this comment cause there is no way and respectfully NME won that just with the first round and it wasn’t even close. I was extremely shocked
It's because of the techniques used by rythmind. I'm not an expert in loopstation myself, but i've seen enough to tell that the judges care more about the technicality of the beats. Rhythmind beat were much more complex and had much things that explains the result of the battle.

Based off of how absolutely insane NME’s first set was and then how beautiful and diverse his second was I take him as the winner any day. NME proved he is up with with Saro
This should've went down as a tie. I never knew neither before today but both are uniquely gifted in their own styles. I think that a winner hinges on what an individual prefers for the day. I loved them equally.
Was just thinking about this battle today and came back to watch it for like the 100th time over two years later. When this video first released, I agreed with the judges 100%, but after watching so many loopstation videos, having an RC-505 of my own, and understanding better how all of it works, I’ve come back to this video and decided that NME should have won. I’m sure lots of people will disagree with me, but NME just has more complex music ideas in his routines and his second round was extremely unique. NME’s first round showed that he can make a hard battle routine that’s even better than any of Rythmind’s, and his second round was extremely unique and just showed us what he as an artist cared about and that battling doesn’t always have to be build ups and drops. Like I said, people will definitely disagree with me, but I think NME should’ve won.
it doesn't matter if he has more complex ideas or more experimental choices. complex=/=good. literally ignoring the fact that the 2nd round just wasn't enjoyable for a live setting. like you can write the most complex piece of music surpassing beethovens symphony but it doesn't mean it's good lol
@@grciak3015 he does though. His creativity is actually above the other peoples... Everyone else just makes edm. They are bottle necked to a style. NME transcends that and makes music. He is honestly better than rythmind.. Maybe rythmind got bonus points because he is only using a 505 without any extra equipment. But having mb14 as a judge is also pretty helpful when you are a member of berywam.
For thoes saying NME deserved this Rythmind was better technically and musically and had 2 solid rounds but NME first round was good drop and round 2 was basic compared to other loopers
The point in Nme's first segment where it's the unbelievable drop where it almost sounds like a whoop is like waking from a dream and falling right back into it seamlessly

A tribute to the score of lotr
NICE CONCEPT NME !!! REALLY APRECIATE FOR U TO SACRIFICE UR FIRST PODIUM FOR THE BEAUTY MUSIC EVER !!!
13:07 best moment of nme round 2 if he wanted he could've made a huge drop
If he legit wanted to win he could do the biggest Drop in GBB history. But he gave us something more important: Art.
Ikr, imagine if he went "SIKE" and then just drops a havy ass bass drop.... dang that would've been epic ngl
06:22 MB14 : Sick drop but I have to stay calm
cause he's friend who match againt NME haha lol judges
So why he voted to NME vs Brez? Brez would win it?.
U stoopid
Lol, 😂😂
its not about being french its about being team members
Based off of how absolutely insane NME’s first set was and then how beautiful and diverse his second was I take him as the winner any day. NME proved he is up with with Saro
Saro .. Godfather of loop station
@@auzora2004 yes
nah not the level of saro....
Saro is something else, no one can be compared to Saro, not even Thorsen (and god he is a legend)
This should've went down as a tie. I never knew neither before today but both are uniquely gifted in their own styles. I think that a winner hinges on what an individual prefers for the day. I loved them equally.
It’s a tradition to come back to this battle every once in a while
Truth!
Yes! Same for other beatbox videos 😎
I think this is possibly THE best final EVER. Both incredible!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Absolutely, you have all the reason bro 😪
True af
Agreed
it doesn't matter if he has more complex ideas or more experimental choices. complex=/=good. literally ignoring the fact that the 2nd round just wasn't enjoyable for a live setting. like you can write the most complex piece of music surpassing beethovens symphony but it doesn't mean it's good lol
It's 31 October 2022 and when I still watch it I fee that energy. One of the all time classics. Power👊🏼🔥
NME last year said "yeah guys, maybe next year". And him back with amazing power💥
@@Kojayyy with honour & heart
@@Kojayyy i know.. don't tell me twice..
Jasa Sitorus yeah Vice champs and end it with spreading a new idea of looping. Quite a win for me.
In last year NME has his best shape. In 2019 really feeling,he is nothing doing, and his masterpiece not grow.
@@Kojayyy noob
Mb14 : it’s hard to win GBB loopstation (2017)
Beatness : hold my beer .. (2018)
Rythmind : hold my jacket .. (2019)
2018 and 2019 had'nt saro or thorsen xD
Yes but they had some other great loopers ( inkie, So-So, NME..) :D
@@kirikoumamadou1436
Yeah
But MB14 couldn't handle those two xD
Wawad : Ok, I will win GBB 2020 Loopstation
Isaac Amaral i agree
NME deserves to win a gbbb or worlds title or both...honestly the guy is a genius. So fricken creative.
did he win? no... so then he does not deserve it when he didnt win. :)
@@asylumental totally with you on this
Same could be said about MB14
For thoes saying NME deserved this Rythmind was better technically and musically and had 2 solid rounds but NME first round was good drop and round 2 was basic compared to other loopers
The point in Nme's first segment where it's the unbelievable drop where it almost sounds like a whoop is like waking from a dream and falling right back into it seamlessly
Nice job by NME, but i've never seen someone survive a headshot
I see it all the time in BO4
NME got shot
NME did not care he got shot
NME died
NME went to heaven
I present to you Fallout: New Vegas
oh yeah yeah
Malala
Serch her on google
NME made “headshot” fade from crows’s mind so easily. After that they were dancing to his tune.
Congratulations for both artists rythmind deserved to be the champion
And that last round of NME was mind blowing seriously
OMG
I could watch this 5 times a day every day and still not get tired of it. The creativity and technical knowledge is limitless

1. Saro drop vs Mb14
2. Inkie drop vs Thain son
3. Saro drop vs NME
4. Saro drop vs Inkie
5. Saro drop vs Tioneb
@@squalito217 Inkie vs beatness?
Seriously is one of the best battle in all Loopstation battle I can see. Nme style is so cool and unique and Rythmind make so cool music. I love both of them.
