I came here to say thus exact thing lol works with plastic tech decks 😆 I did this when I was a kid for sure but only gave mine a slight bend to much and jt looked weird 😅
The best thing I've used for applying foam grip tape is using 250 grit sandpaper because it can shape to the side of the board and make a nice bevel. It can also be used on the surface of the tape to wear it in a bit
8:31 I cannot believe my hack made it in! I should have been a bit more specific, it works better with plastic wheels to give them more grip. Thanks fire including mine! I love your content!!!
The rubber band water balloon bushings are the only bushing I usually use and if you use a pop it and a hole puncher it makes good bushings and you can do that for Lego tires and a hole puncher they all work
I use pieces of bicycle repair patches as bushings and it makes a Tech Deck actually usable! I also clean my tech deck griptape with a slightly wet toothbrush once a week. Not too wet... don't wanna ruin the griptape. I hate it when my griptape is all dirty with dead skin cells.😅
Hey @TheGripsion I really enjoyed the video but I think the person with the "hack" :heat up the board for better pop meant heat up a Teck Deck and bend the tail more up to have a bigger pop
I also like to use the rubbery material from pop-its and cut it out with a leather hole punch to make bushings. Although there is a little bit more work involved coz then you have to pierce them to make a hole.

the deck heat up trick is for plastic tech decks. Back in my day, we would heat up the tail and nose so we can bend them, let them cool, and now you have higher kicks
Great video bro, I’ve never really delved into this rabbit hole. But it looks very interesting. I wonder if there’s anyone that’s tried with their feet!?!
If you use a foam sandpaper block with velcro attaching sandpaperpads you can get a nice perfect clean griptape edge and in nice single fluid strokes around the deck in a downward slight angle motion with even force and you will get the perfect edge.
Hack: To have a trunk that moves up and down very smoothly like what happens if we add so much pressure to the fb, To this kickflip. 3 fingers, middle finger at the middle, ring finger at the 4 dot thingies, index finger at the wheel. Push up. Repeat it many times.
Can someone help me like bruh.. alright so the problem is whenever i put masking tape on my grip tape, the griptape has some of these random lines that the masking tape took..
Your so lucky to have such good beater boards and expensive trucks, im still using My First wooden board that is 32mm and really bad with not responsive trucks and non bearing wheels🙂 i love your videos! Keep it up❤
I tried gluing the axel, and it actually worked! It was hard to get the nuts on before gluing the axel, so if you can't manage to get your nuts on the axel just use some gorilla glue.
For a tech deck nuts you take a pair of pliers and squish it the slightest amount, it’s easy to overdo it so be careful. It works but it should be a last resort type thing
And they mean taking a tech deck and heating up the plastic board and bending the angle of the kick steeper for more pop
Yep
Yeahh only works for plastic boards ….you can tell his age from not knowing 🤣🙏✌️
@@theghostface5905 who?

Lock nut needs a retry with a proper tool!
For the tape on your grinding ledge trick use painters tape for a more slidey feel (perhaps.)
Thanks for including my hack at 10:04 in the video, lol.
Use shrink tube over wheels for grip
I did that
I've been doing the tape Scotch tape to make an obstacle slide better for years
8:31 I cannot believe my hack made it in! I should have been a bit more specific, it works better with plastic wheels to give them more grip. Thanks fire including mine! I love your content!!!
You can also use the rubber things in water bottle caps that keep pressure in as bushings
i love this video - it helped me in so many different ways, thank you!

cheerios as budget wheels is my favorite
Cheerios and resin?

Hey @TheGripsion I really enjoyed the video but I think the person with the "hack" :heat up the board for better pop meant heat up a Teck Deck and bend the tail more up to have a bigger pop
With the water ballon bushings, me and my friend were playing with water balloons and we used the rubber bands for bushings and they work so good.
Are you the one who was in the vid
@@JustNolanYT No it was just a coincidence

For the heated tail you had to heat it up then bend it by pushing it on a hard object and it gives better pop
Banger video Alex. Keep it up!!
You can flush your deck down the toilet to have no deck
👍

I think they mean putting wax on tech deck wheels for more grip
The method I use to remove grip is… the pinch and pull slowly

For keeping tech deck nuts on just put a really small drop of super glue on after putting the nut on
Can someone help me like bruh.. alright so the problem is whenever i put masking tape on my grip tape, the griptape has some of these random lines that the masking tape took..

The rubber band as bushings i do I love them
The heating up your board hack does work because then you can kind of bend the tail for more pop
The guy means that u can bend the tail of a PLASTIC tech deck with fire 🔥
bro didn’t test my budget wheels jack 😭
I use nail polish on the wheels to get grip
Yo I finally made it into a video!! Sweet

The heating of the board was to heat plastic board and bend it for more steep pop
Use tech deck bushings as pivit cups
