Thank you Crystal I needed this. My day was spent at a cattle sale with my aunt and uncles. And let me tell you every time I tried to start crocheting a beanie they took turns in talking to me so I got nothing done 😂. Told them all that for driving them there today my payment next time we go shopping is yarn. So next week when I take them into the city I get lots of yarn 😀

Crystal , your shopping trip brought back good memories of my boys and me out shopping . My oldest son drove our truck to the store with me to get some food . When we left the store , we turned away from the direction to go home , we made a trip around the block . I ask him what he was doing and he said he wanted to see who was in town . I told him , there is nothing like cruising the block with my son . Great video . Love the red velvet . It would make a great red riding hood cape .

the red chunky velvet yarn is stunning i can imagine it made up in a cape with a hood its gorg. i totally agree about baby blankets not being just pink and blue, who wants to follow the norm and so predictable we should make them in whatever takes our fancy. i havent tried the wool ease yet but i sure will i loveeeeee the colour choices. thanks for taking us with you being stuck in and in the uk i love your shopping videos, it keeps me up to date on shops plus whats going on in the outside world.

Pfffth on the “traditional” colors for baby blankets. I stay away from a lot of the baby pastels because I find them boring. I end up making baby blankets out of bright, vibrant colors usually. For someone who tends toward neutrals in my wardrobe, I sure do love the brights in my crochet. Hehe

Our church people love to buy baby blankets in non traditional colors so it’s way more fun. I just did one in gray med yellow and white. It’s so pretty. I sold a MAM in neon stripes with eyelash trim around border. Very posh! Lol. I like your style. Keep it up!
Always seems so quiet at shopping centres there and so many at parks here in Australia you can drive around carpark for twenty minutes trying to get a park happy crocheting and shopping

I like the gold color! Traditional colors is old school. Many people are incorporating other colors with the pinks and blues now a days. Team colors are big too!
