- At ROMP 2017, the Punch Brothers are joined by Sarah Jarosz and Alex Hargreaves (*Gabe Witcher was busy becoming a father). Produced by the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum, ROMP Festival takes place in June with over 25,000 attendees annually.

Love the work of Punch Sister Sarah Jarsosz.
The more I listen to Chris Thile, the more I am convinced that he is a musical genius. It's great that he gets to play with such talented musicians to produce his unique sound.
The level of musicianship in this performance is awe inspiring . . . maybe everybody else should just give up? This is the most amazing performance I have heard in a long, long time. The level of accomplishment of everybody on that stage is just astounding. Only 434 likes so far???? And it's fun!!!!

The transition from My Oh My to Another New World gives me chills. What a concert, what a performance by them all. Loved Alex's touch to Familiarity

Come on!! The dueling banjo/mando solo in The Hops of Guldenberg never fails to make me smile. So freakin fun.
First time to hear Dark Days, a song sorely needed now.

Five years later, i'm enjoying the hell out of Chris Eldridge enjoying the hell out of Alex Hargreaves's playing. These people always give credit where credit is due.
Every single time Pickles introduces Passepied it gets better.
Good grief! I've never been able to hear the upright bass on a Punch Brothers concert before.
The mandolin-octave mandolin duet in Tall Pines was lovely.
great performance but there is something wrong with the audio. especially with the bass and loud vocal sounds. wish it was ok!

Alex gave a good effort, but he's just not as good as Gabe. Some tough stuff to play though.
With 3 days notice I would say Alex did exceptional..He's GREAT!
Are you kidding?? Alex killed it and why is it necessary to make comparisons? His musicianship is extraordinary and by the way, I spoke to Chris backstage and he said it was actually just one multi-hour practice session. Think about that. That makes Alex's performance even more impressive.
@@cw330 I didn't say it was bad at all. I just don't think he's as good but he's absolutely fine player. I enjoy his playing. It's just a stylistic thing for me. But a helluva gig to step in for and he did a nice job.

As Alex plays watch the Punch Brothers faces. They are in awe of his playing. Both are exceptional, and Alex's ability to step in on short notice and practice displays his musicianship.
