for 10 dollars your lucky it even functions, if you take it apart, Im sure you can make it function better by making some adjustments and oiling it where needed internally
I bought a 50 dollar one and it’s surprisingly good and honestly I think it could save your life in a certain situation and it says it’s d2 steel and I’ve had at it well over a month using it as a box cutter and as a toy and it’s still got a edge these Chinese ones are not too bad

flipping open a manual knife vs flipping the switch on even a cheap otf... your fine motor function will be gone in a hostile situation. these cheap knives are copies of very well made and purpose made knives. there is one that doesn't disconnect when you hit something. I don't remember who made it though

For that much I get a Glock and s&w a ar15 a couple of Brownings and still have left over for a fancy dinner with the whole family!! So I went on wish and got this nice OTF with wood handles looks real nice for $21.00 but shipping gets you with promo codes it came out to $30.95. Woot woot!!
Yeah what Jeff m said. Theres very rarely one with no wobble. But it could be less or worse depending on the blade. Now I assume out of the box it wouldn't have too much, but the more you use it the worse it gets. My main issue is if the lock is good or not as the blade is meant for stabbing, if I stab a person in self defense I wouldn't want the knife to retract on me.
The knife wouldn’t retract because of the locking mechanisms inside, also there are OTF knifes that have zero play whatsoever and it’s called a deadlock Knife, it’s ssuuupper expensive though coming in at just under 2k

The copy microtech is built like a tank, for the price it’s value for money. A $400 microtech may be better but if your willing to spend that kind of money for a utility knife, I wouldn’t even want to use it, I’ll stick with my $50 copy it’s quality just ask raven tech!!

All their knives have serial numbers and date of when they were made. He had a counterfeit one.dont buys any online.. they are fake. Always go to a gun show and find an authorized dealer.

It should be most all of them would bounce off of even paper if you open it against it if the blade ends up free sliding just pull it all the way out till it clicks then you are good to go

If you go on BladeHQ(One of the best knife shop sites), and you look for the AKC F-16 OTF, it's a very sturdy double action OTF for around $60. If you aren't wanting to spend in the $300+ price range for a good OTF, then this one is a solid option if OTF's are legal in your area.

Yes you can, ask them to ship it as a movie prop on the label and wait. It's just bad luck if it gets seized at customs, you've got a pretty good chance of getting it without any problems. Your experience may be different but I can say from my experience it's not difficult to get "illegal" knives into the UK, haven't had a problem with both Balisongs and OTF's.

If you want to buy a genuine OTF from a legitimate company you will require a third party in the US. You can have your order shipped to them and have them send it to you as a prop or gardening tool. You can also have them take it apart and ship it in separate packages as "replacement parts" to lower the risk of it being stopped and held by customs.

99% of all OTF knives, even high quality ones have quite a bit of wobble, it is one of the downsides to them
