    Yes Kerbie, 'dawdling' is a word but regardless of how fast or slow you do the services & regardless of whether or not you manage to keep producing these videos, you will always be a legend & one of the best mechanic-fitters in South-East England. Please remember that at all times!

    Love watching these videos, since I got my first car a Capri, we've been fixing our own cars and some other peoples since 1982 with spanners not tablets, we had no choice cos we had no money to pay a mechanic, we could do most things like change engines and gearboxes in the 80s and 90s but now you cant even see the engine for electronics and sensors.

      @kerbsidemobilemechanic  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah the differences in modern day engines/cars to ones of that era are so big it’s unreal

    An impact screw used to be an essential part of our toolbox but with impact drivers now the norm they’ve been forgotten about but they still have a place!

    What do people ignore break fluid. Its hygroscopic and should be changed regularly. But then I suppose a lot of these cars are being run on a needs must budget.

    Enjoy your Videos, wee tip, but maybe am fussy, seat covers needed to keep customers car seats clean 😊

      Noted, luckily I’ve never stained a customers car seat but maybe I should prevent it in future 👍

      @@kerbsidemobilemechanic It's not about when you do, but when a customer thinks you have and starts accusing you, it will happen at some point! It's for your own protection, as you can turn round and say "The seat was covered so that's not possible"

      Someone already picked up on the seat cover and I agree that it's for your protection and I've been guilty of not putting one in myself especially when tired. It was interesting where you dump your oil as I too am mobile during day but also have full time night job as a truck tech at a dealer but am jacking that in after 25 years and going to poodle round in my van doing cars. I normally empty all my oil at work but obviously will have to look elsewhere now. Love your videos but sometimes you need to cheer up a bit 😂😂😂

    • @kerbsidemobilemechanic
      @kerbsidemobilemechanic  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@davidbonnett5441 Thanks, something I’ll deffo be implementing in 2024 for sure, ask your work id you can continue to dump oil there if you’ve forma good relationship with them? And don’t worry mate it’s not all doom and gloom 😅 Just a culmination of a tough and busy year I think 👍

    You can unplug a coil you suspect to be misfiring while the engine is running and see if it makes a difference. Especially when the miss is consistent.

    • @kerbsidemobilemechanic
      @kerbsidemobilemechanic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The ford S max, the dangers of not doing diagnosing non-starting cars. Customer to blame have to pay for parts when a diagnosis by you could of saved them money!! must be frustrating when customers try to be mechanics and tell you they know what the issue is and ask you to replace the part!
