Great to hear Mark all the amazing things that have happened in your life - mine is a similar story, my mantra is ‘from breakdowns come breakthroughs’ - one just has to have self belief and everything will be ok, nothing is wasted, the past was never going to be any different to what it was and everything is happening in divine order, cherish each moment and be grateful for the most basic of things, even having a breath 🙏🙏
Everything you said is spot on. Yesterday my wife told me we are getting a divorce and I am now spending this Christmas alone for the first time in my 34 years of life. If I allow myself to dwell in self pity or anger I will destroy myself. Instead, I am courageously using this time as a period to self-reflect and improve myself as I look forward into my future. I will be alone this year but not broken

I’m 52 and my wife left me 4 weeks ago. I’m sat here drinking Guinness on Xmas Eve thinking how tf did it get to this?!

Alleluia! This is my 12th christmas since divorced and I am at a good place with the Lord. I was so sad without my children and then my daughter went to heaven she was 28. The sadness was rolled up into one and I found denial was my friend so I could breathe in and out. I hate to be all negative but christmas is so pagan my brothers and sisters! Its like we decorate the golden calf then say " but it's ok because we are doing it in Jesus name!" I dont think it is okay at all.
Thank you for your encouraging videos my brother! We are in His plan and sometimes its pain but then we gain so much closeness to our King! I am healing with His help. Just now He showed me hands pushing up through the miry clay as I was praying and lately He has been saying " I am giving you a new song!" Isnt he wonderful? So faithful so true. Our Comforter psalm 40! He brings us through holding us very tightly because He is our Father!
