Archers are fun and challenging to play because they're literally one of the WEAKEST vocations in DD2. Magic Archer, Warrior, Fighter, Mage, Sorc, Thief, Mystic Spearhead, ALL DESTROY Archers in dps and cc.
Idk..i mean everything is kinda OP. I fought a Drake using heavenly shoot and it took me multiple shots with careful aiming and was a close fight. On the other hand few days later i fought another Drake as a Thief and i just hanged on his heart and spammed Y until it died.
One day DD2 archers main will see DD1 and stop coping. Thats not even 6% of its HP. Archers used to take out 4 Health Bars with a skill that took 1/10 of their Stamina, not the whole thing.
Talking about one vocation as OP is dumb. What can really be OP is a well rounded party. My go to is fighter pawn from the rift making sure they’re set up as a tank with provocation and shield summon, my main pawn as sorcerer with meteor equipped (u get it from finishing spellbound quest), mage from the rift making sure they have mostly healing and buffing abilities set up when picking one out, and then I usually play as mystic spear putting the invincibility bubble on everybody as much as I can and sapping stamina as soon as I run out or sometimes I play as magic archer just for fun and extra healing/revival. I can really be about any vocation with that setup and it’s easy mode as long as everybody’s stats look good (good weapons and armor equipped. Always look at pawn’s stats and skills equipped when picking one out). If they don’t have fighters set up like tanks and mages set up like white mage/healer/buffers, they’re playing the game wrong.
Not to rain on your parade because while heavenly shot is a very satisfying skill to use, kinda pointless if you only show the last bit of a fight. It can take out around 2 drake health bars if placed right but that still pales in comparison to othwr ultimate skills like Riotous Fury that doesnt take out all your stamina or take forever for the attack to come out.
OP on an opponent that didnt even have a quarter health bar left 😂

It was nowhere near a quarter. It was maybe a tenth. The fighter did a chunk before he even shot. What a strange video.
As a warrior who can just arc of might to the dragon chest and 4 health bars instancely gone, this is really mehh

Nahh man, explosive arrows are where its at. Climb on 90% of monsters heads and just jam a few of those bad boys in there and they go down in seconds.
