I live 20 minutes away from East Palestine and these people are not being forgotten by any stretch of the imagination. History has shown us that big business is the entity that if not pressed will turn their backs on citizens and communities.

It's been all over the news, too. It has not been ignored or neglected or forgotten at all. Carlson can't open his mouth without falsehood jumping straight out of it, not that that's news.
People need to understand that 'deregulation' generally means let's allow corporations to cut corners at the expense of communities and tax payers nationwide.

One of my favorite sayings in the military about “over regulation” is that those rules were written in blood. Meaning, something bad had to happen to someone before those rules were put in place. Removing regulations only green lights the very activities that hurt people and got those regulations written in the first place.

I remember there was a leak from a coal plant that poisoned multiple communities waterways and those people were screaming about why didn't the EPA do anything to help prevent this from happening but continued to vote for the politicians that gutted the EPA in their state in the first place.

Lack of regulations is to blame for thousands of deaths in the Turkish earthquakes from terrible building practices that were allowed to flourish because of low regulations! For example emission standards for cars coming from China are different than cars going into China. the Chinese could car less about emission controls where America has to follow emission control guide lines.

Personally, I find most regulations are a good thing. As a single parent I have so many things that I already worry about, which just adds stress to my life & increases anxiety. I am thankful that I do not have to worry about unsafe & the quality of foods, unsafe roads, unsafe products etc... Because of regulations there is a minimal risk/ informed risk to my family for seeing a doctor or taking medications both over-the-counter & prescription. I can transport my children, knowing that if maintained properly, my vehicle, my home, my appliances, etc... are safe with minimal/informed risks. The way I see it, regulations are a lot like, my having rules for my children & home - just on a larger scale. Unfortunately there are dishonest & unknowledgeable people in charge of nearly everything in our lives.

My minister said that I can trust fox and the Republicans completely with politics and finances. He said is that GOP leaders who want to prioritize the social security recipients. He said that they get priority over large corporations in the, it’s the democrats who want to give it all to the corporations. My minister said that it’s up to republicans and fox to save social security. Laura, Tucker, and Hannity are trying to save social security. He said that that’s a legislative priority now that they have a majority of in the House. He said that they want to privatize it. If the market goes down, money will magically appear into the privately funded social security, and seniors will have nothing to worry about. My minister said that republicans have never, do not, and never will vote against their own self interests. My minister said that it’s in my best interests to pay taxes for billionaires. My minister said that common republicans always vote for their own self interests. Democrat always vote against their self interests. That’s what he said. Anyone who says that is not true is out of their mind. My minister said that Republicans want the additional IRS funding because they will have the ability to audit the wealthiest people and corporations in the world. He said that the GOP congress doesn’t want to provide safety or tax havens for the wealthiest individuals by cutting IRS funding. He said that they would never do that. My minister is a good man, and I trust him to do my thinking politically and financially since I can’t think.
