- Female gorilla Momoko turned 41 years old on June 3, 2024.
Momoko is the mother of Momotaro who is now a silverback gorilla and the father of Gentaro and Kintaro.
She gave birth to Sumomo in May 2022, but bacause of Momoko's bad health condition, Sumomo was separated from the Haoko troop and raised by her keepers.
After Momoko got healthy, Sumomo returned to the Haoko troop in March 2023.
All of the gorillas including Momoko loves and takes care of Sumomo so much.
She likes to rest alone, but Haoko the silverback and her children always often come to her. Her existence gives the troop peace of mind.
Momoko is a great mother gorilla.

上野動物園の母ゴリラ モモコは、2024年6月3日に41歳になりました。
モモコは京都市動物園の父ゴリラ モモタロウの母親でもあります。モモタロウはゲンタロウとキンタロウの父親です。
モモコは2022年5月にスモモを産みましたが、モモコ自身の体調不良のため育てることができず、スモモは人工哺育に切り替えられました。
モモコの体調が回復し、2023年3月にはスモモも群れへ無事復帰できました。
ハオコファミリーのゴリラたちは皆スモモに優しく愛情深く接しており、スモモも安心できていると思います。
モモコはよくひとりで過ごすことが多いですが、いつも４頭の子どもたちやハオコがモモコのもとにやって来ます。
群れのゴリラたちにとってモモコは安心感を与えてくれる精神的な支柱だと思います。
さすがは偉大な母ゴリラですね。

Jameela (at the Cleveland, Ohio Zoo 🇺🇸) is going to be a stout and muscular little one like Sumomo, where Kunda’s (Kebi’s baby girl at Cleveland USA 🇺🇸) is thin and lanky. .I’m not saying Kunda’s not healthy she’s just build differently and after she has time to run around and play with her siblings she might get a little thicker. Kebi was very overprotective MaMa and that caused Kunda to be a bit leaner but maybe now that Kunda’s running everywhere she can (she’s just like her half-sibling Kayembe) but since Freddy also let Kayembe work on his motor control and muscle’s, he was always a thick and solid baby like Sumomo as well. P.S. it’s adorable hoe Riki Loves Ms. ToTo and I’ve seen Riki interrupt HAOKO and TOTO after making eye’s at ea g other wanting to mate in secret but here Riki to interfere with their plans. With a troop full of eyes watching constantly, then the very few moments of secret mating RiKi says (not with my lady)! It’s so funny because HAOKO is aggregated by having to stop and poor TOTO was going to get lucky, then RiKi really believe’s he’s sagged his female who he just adores. I just love watching this HAOKO troop from Uneo Zoo Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵, I like watching MOMOKO’s oldest son Monotaro with his troop occasionally as well. I do enjoy watching the troop in Cleveland, Ohio USA 🇺🇸. I look in on many of the different troops but MOKOLO’s Troop/Family is n Cleveland, USA 🇺🇸 and HAOKO’s Troop/Family in Uneo Zoo Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 are my two favorite’s to watch and keep note’s on their behaviors because they’re such interesting troops/families.
Also please forgive all grammatical errors because I have (MS) so with my side effects like bad eyesight and even cognitive problems when I’m my re tired. NO PITY PLEASE! I’m blessed with my wonderful husband of 49 years, our grown children with their darling spouses and our precious grandchildren. I’m grateful for the advancement they’ve made regarding (MS) treatments and medications, I’m still able to walk with my cane or walker. So again I can’t complain because I know there’s other people suffering with different illnesses or diseases, my prayers 🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏼 are with them and thanks to all the common folks working nonstop to try and find treatments and medications so people don’t have to live in pain. I know they don’t get the credit, it’s always some elitist making announcement’s like they did the hard work but we know about you good decent folks trying to help so don’t ever think we aren’t thinking or praying 🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏼 for you as well!

Hoje é o aniversário 🎂 de Momoko, fez hoje 41 anos, nasceu no dia 03 de junho de 1983, ela vive no zoológico de Ueno-Tóquio-Japão.
Ela por sinal, é a mãe do silverback MOMOTARO do zoológico de Kioto-Japão, seu pai era BIJU, que já faleceu,morreu engasgado com o próprio vômito,Momotaro não o conheceu.
O BIJU foi o grande amor 💘 da GENKI.
Os pais da GENKI são MACK e HIROMI.😅
Yeah, but she was rejected by one more taro's father for a good reason because she's psychotic. It has a terrible personality. None of the other gorillas got along with her including his mother. That's why she had to be transferred from the zoo. She was actua, she will momotaro, are at now Because she started pulling her hair out, and literally ate off 2 of her toes. I think it was cruel to put him with her. After his own, father rejected her for a reason and shoes what ended up being his mother. Who's having her birthday in this video over genki She treats momotaro, terribly throw us dirt and Poo at him. Never let his kids spent any quality time with him when they were Even younger than they are now she would literally drag them away. Hurting them dragging there. Head off the ground. Fight their ankle, holding their ankle up and dragging their body away from momo taro. Because she, you're so jealous and possessive Over their children that you never would let him spend anytime with them. Even if they went over to him, she will drag them away end. There was never some type of gentle picking them up and wait. She always grabbed them by their ankle and literally dragged them away. It doesn't matter if they hit their head on that piece of wood or a rock. She doesn't actually love them like people. Pretend she does. She does looks at them as objects that she owns that she doesn't want anyone else to have. And it's not right for momotaro, because he's pretty much alone by himself all the time. Roll it every now and then they spend some time with him. But she usually what time get them away from him if she is able to and the only reason she ever spends them with him is to make once every couple of years
