My thoughts on the Google Pixel 8a vs the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. So, price wise, performance, they are quite similar devices but different in a lot of places a well. If you can get the S23 FE for cheaper, I would do it, but I think the Pixel 8a still holds some important advantages.

Both have their advantages, for cheaper, I'd go the S23 FE, but the Pixel 8a has some serious advantages.

Great content as always, being a pixel & Samsung super fan this is great comparison that really makes you think 🤔 both are awesome for what they are but id have to go for pixel cus of cameras & 7 years of support, but man id miss having a bigger display & oneui of course!

Still think the Motorola Thinkphone represents a better value than either of these phones, but I have to concede each phone has its bright points. Really looking forward to your impressions on the Moto G Stylus (2024). I appreciate the Stevealicious take on devices.

@@StevealiciousTech I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy a54 fully unlocked version on my no contract prepaid Verizon and it takes great photos, great video call quality and reception are good in my area for the most part. I'm going to get another phone in the future but a phone with a snapdragon processor for better call quality and reception overall.

I'm sorry but my experience with the tensor was so horrendous that it was unusable. Its rare for me to say that about any phone but the tensor has to be the worst I've ever seen. Summer has now begun and last year my pixel couldn't deal with it in the day time outside and would overheat like crazy. It was so bad that it would just crash and turn off until it cooled down. All it was doing was Android Auto and Navigation. Unless you live in the North Pole, get the Samsung. I hate Samsung because of their horrid business practices, my memories of TouchWiz, the Note 7, the audacity to put ads in the UI and a lot more but at least its a usable phone in the daylight. I'm not saying these are things that are happening now but thats just why I personally don't like or trust Samsung.

@@eveylopez6742 did your Samsung heat up, turn into a slideshow, shut off and leave you stranded? Mine did that every morning. The worst was when it did it in the wrong part of town. It'd also overheat during rain storms. Sometimes it'd just lose signal on the highway. None of my other phones did that in the same locations. I can see that you're trying to defend Google's bad product but the phone was terrible because of the bad soc.

Steve, at 4:27 I think you proved our point for us. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is made by Samsung the same company that makes Exynos and Tensor. Tensor doesn't get a pass, it's a bad Samsung chip too.

I just can't trust pixel devices. I've had a lot of devices but the Pixel 6 then 8 pro turned me away from Pixel forever. My 6 had more bugs than any other phone I've ever had. Then the 8 pro had a horrible modem and would get warm doing nothing other than being in my pocket. Last straw for me was my wife and I were in a restaurant and her Iphone 15 pro max had full service while my pixel 8 pro had no service at all.
