I genuinely gasped at the seamlessness of the lining when you extended it in order to be being enough for the pattern piece. The way the pattern on the lining just matched up is chef's kiss. Absolutely beautiful work.

Love this Breaking Bag series. I watched my first one a few months ago and immediately forced my friend to watch it because I knew she would enjoy it as much as I did (and I wasn’t wrong). You have a distinct voice and humor that carries through and makes these videos very endearing and beautiful to watch, not to mention the attention paid to the craft, sounds, and video editing. Overall 10/10
Funny, when I began sewing my own purses, I really had no money to start. But I went to a local Good Will thrift store and someone's old bag is a sure treasure chest- the zippers, locks, buttons, magnets, snaps! I learned so much about the anatomy of a purse and what I wanted to do! When you pulled out that old red bag it sagged with an- ugh! We all know Mr. Atelier is about to save this old timer! Awesome job! Quite a treasure, a really nice one.
Same here, there are no 'old fashioned' bags, they only become well known classics. I also prefer the original in this case, but I also love watching the work done here especially if a bag is beyond normal repair and he revives it with a different design.
I too think the original bag was a classic design that would never go out of style. Unfortunately the structure of the bag had begun to sag and weaken so I'm not sure if a leather spa could have restored it. But it's such beautiful leather and a gorgeous color it deserved a second life. P.S. Big bags are coming back in style!

Hahns, i have an old lv neverfull and mk hamilton satchel all passed down to me by my mom. i dont like the size as they are big. If granted, i wouldnt mind flying to south korea to have you turn them into something like this prada bag and be used again instead of sitting in my walk in closet 💖

Look like Prada bags are better made than the LV bags by the manufacturers.

@@September_RainsYou can find plenty of 10 year old LVs though. Their canvas is pretty damn durable especially the older generation ones.
