“Noticeably outdated”? The remaster/restoration/upscale/rescan looked pretty well done and they even painstakingly reshot close ups and used CG to update the bottle to the current design.
@@WimpyKelv12 It's still visually outdated. My point is that you can immediately tell it was shot well over a decade ago. I'm not saying it doesn't look good, it's just not in line with modern advertisements which are all incredibly bright and "clean"

@@joshmcintyre27 What does 9/11 have to do with a milk ad like this? I believe this ad is from around 2004, 3 years after 9/11 occurred, in which that event occurred on 11th September (or September 11) 2001.
@@mtarascio Not to mention goat, A2, A2 lactose-free, macadamia and the list goes on. I remember the ones with extra protein and added calcium, vitamin D and folate. The protein one came in a brown carton and was meant to add extra fluffiness to steamed milk in barista-made coffees. I bought it once for my husband to try and he said it was so heavy in his stomach it made him feel sick. I'm pretty sure the other one was in a pink carton as it was marketed to women wanting to decrease their risk of bone density issues later in life. With all the various plant based and altered milks on the market these days, the guy would need to take a seat and wait while she recites a list at least twice this long. When talking to some American friends online about milk, all I could think of was this ad. They asked me what milk I drink, like, I don't know, milk! Apparently soy is the worst, and 3% is the best.
Maybe I'm a bit biased for I'm quite lactose intolerant but soy is actually not that bad especially the Sanitarium brand. Though the natural soy milk in France is not that great (it tastes really bland but I got used to it after a while).
A bottle of milk thanks. Low fat, no fat, full cream, high calcium, high protein, soy, lite, skim, omega 3, high calcium with vitamin d and folate or extra dollop?
this was and still is the best ad to ever be on australian tv
Issy Manak what about Carlton draught?
What about the Good Guys Ads from 11 years ago?
what about not happy jan??
Omar Elashwah That was the best jingle but not the best ad
Along with the RACQ charter boat ad and the BIG AD for carlton draught

Such an iconic ad. I'm glad they've brought it back, even though visually it's very noticeable outdated.

This ad is a brilliant example of why ads today aren't as good as they were back then. I love this ad! 🥛
This ad is legendary, I just found it in a VHS tape and it's beautiful.

This! Anyone see this ad randomly pop up on channel 7 the other night when Deal or No Deal was on? The ad looked remastered.
They should do this milk as now in 2021 it'd take a hour to get through all the milk alternatives haha 😂

I agree with Issy M ...does not matter how many times I watch this ad I really laugh...hats off to the brilliant actors!!! Perfect😀
