This video brought so much joy to me! I'm a newly self-identifying hearth witch and so I have always felt the pull to care for my home in a spiritual way but didn't know how! What a great video to get me started from so many angles. Sending the most potent blessings to you and yours!
What would be the equivalent of a floor wash for those of us with carpeted apartments we can't change? I've heard those baking soda sprinkles are bad for the carpet. Maybe just sticking to room sprays? We can still use the cloth as you described for baseboards and corners, at least!
This was so helpful! I love how you practice intuitively. The floor wash was awesome. However, I have a question. My mother passed away in my house in September, and that room has a stagnant vibe. That may be my imagination, but I feel it should be cleansed since she was in a lot of pain and suffered quite a bit. Is there a specific herb I should use to cleanse that room or will this orange cleaner work just as well? Thank you and I look forward to seeing more of your work!
I know you wrote this a while ago, but maybe you'll see this and it can help. The key here is clean, cleanse, protect, and bless. So a few things you can do. First, you need to be ok. Losing a parent, especially in your home is really rough, and if you arent ok, it could be your own negative energy in this room. If you arent ok, it will keep comimg back. Next youll want to open a window up. The energy might just be stuck and has nowhere to escape. This might be all you need to do. The next step is to physically clean the room top to bottom. Keep the windows open during the cleaning and cleansing process (this is so the bad energy has a place to go), and clean the cealing, the walls, the floor, any linens in the room need to be washed. I use vinegar and water in a spray bottle and just do a wipe down with a microfiber cloth. Its pretty good at cleaning gunk off of walls and it deodorizes. Wipe down any decor items, furniture, and just anything thats been in the room (even if it came in after she passed). Now youll want to cleanse. I first use my broom and sweep the energy out of the room through the window. If this room doesnt have a window, sweep it out of the door, through the house, and out the front door. Imagine yourself literally sweep the bad away. Now you'll want to use some incense or burn rosemarry or sage. Dont use white sage though. This has been stolen from native americans, is endangered so hurts the environment, and you might anger something. Regular old garden sage is fine though. Even better if you grew it yourself. I like to finish my cleansing with a lemon spray that i spray around the room and wipe on the door and window. You dont have to do this but i find it helps. Now you'll want to protect. You can put an iron horse shoe over the window, or bells on the door knob or in the window. I also like sprinkling salt water in the corners. Even herb bundles hung in the window work well. Now you will do a blessing for this room. You can do any number of spells for a blessing, it doesnt have to be complicated. You can also set up an offeranda to your mom to bring in some of her good energy. Some old pictures of her that bring back good memories before she got sick and maybe something she owned that she really loved like a peice of jewelry. I know this seems like a lot, and it is, expect this to take a few days, but it is the best way to ive found to really get things clean and fresh both physically and spiritually. My condolences to you and your family. I wish you all the best in this sad time and hope you can feel at ease amd find peace.
I always love your stories and enjoy your beautiful paintings. Thank you for the joy they bring.

What if you don't have a fire place?
If your house is a new build would you still have a house spirit? Or do that happen over time?
My personal belief is that it still has a spirit!
@@theredheadedwitch thank you love your videos!!
