- Said to be the most sheltered harbour in NZ, we explore Whangaroa (pronounced fung a rower) & more of New Zealand's beautiful Northland by yacht and boot as well as taking a road trip to the tippy top, taking in giant sand dunes, the incredible tidal convergence at Cape Reinga and a final big stock up ready for our crossing to Tonga. Then a scary moment with drive shaft drama....

Another good vid. Whangaroa is on of the most amazing places to go boating in, you never get sick of it. You'll have to come back to see it more, along with the rest of the coast you’ve bypassed.
Just a note, information signs are really difficult to read on screen, its probably better to read them or talk about them, than take pictures of them.
