There are some different seat options or you could get a rally seat for your Norden 901, maybe that will help, and it is the best looking adventure bike for sure!
After much research I ended up with the Norden 901 Expedition. So far loving the Norden. Only issue I can complain about is some heat from the engine, but that’s probably from EU emissions changes. I love the way it looks. They are offering a 4 year warranty if you get your service at a dealership.
Norden all day. For 90% of the COBDR its long fast dirt roads. I def would want to be on the bigger bike. And be willing to sacrafice the weight on the more technical sections.
Tiger is an exquisite bike, however it's one fatal flaw is the requirement to stop completely before switching to Off-Road or Off-Road Pro. Absolutely asinine.
No way I’d buy an 890/901 over a Tiger 900 RP with current cam shaft issue ongoing. Not to mention KTMs general terrible reliability in its 690/701 and larger capacity Adv bike range? Not to mention the shifty way they have handled the cam shaft issue. I’d also add the 23 Aragorn edition isn’t even a valid or current comparison as its just a custom paint/sticker job 2023 model vs a legit and very much improved 2024 Tiger RP. After much research and deliberation I am going for the Tiger. With correctly dialed suspension It is so close to the off-road performance of the 901 it’s not even an issue worth considering given Triumph over KTM reliability and on-road the new Tiger is far superior. IMO from a quality and ethical viewpoint It’s also a bonus the Tiger isn’t made in China😉
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I totally get why you’re leaning toward the Tiger 900 Rally Pro-it's an excellent bike, and the 2024 updates sound impressive. I personally prefer the Husky for off-road, but I haven’t ridden the 2024 Tiger RP, so I can’t compare them firsthand. As for the reliability concerns regarding products made in China, I’m not sure I agree with that perspective. The devices we all rely on to watch videos, like phones, tablets, and PCs, are largely made in China, along with many other high-quality consumer goods. Plus, bikes like the Kove and CFMoto are getting great reviews, and BMW has trusted China to produce their 850 GS for years. Regarding the KTM camshaft issue, I can’t speak much to it because I haven’t experienced any problems with my 1290, nor have my friends with KTMs had any issues. But I understand it’s been a concern for some. Thanks again for the comment, and I’m sure your Tiger is going to be a blast to ride!
@@jmilton1069 I'm not sure . I assume they are no change but it's not an issue for me as if I were to get an 890 or 901 I wouldn't have put upper crash bars on them either. Some would say that the bars bending after a certain level of force isn't an issue anyway as it means that energy isn't being transferred to the bike in the same manner 4WD bull bars are designed to slide/compress in several inches after a certain level of impact. I know riders with multiple drops and zero damage (other than scuffs) to their bar work. In any case, like the bash plate, upper bars can be sourced elsewhere or, like many riders, simply not put on to save weight. Many mid sized Adv riders do not run upper (or any) crash bars on their bikes. I think its a fad that is going out of fashion.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I’d love to hear more about your perspective-what’s your experience with the Tiger 900 Rally Pro and the Norden 901? It's always great to get different viewpoints, especially when it comes to choosing a bike that fits different riding styles. Let me know what you think!

@@jmilton1069 I agree about the heat. I think it comes from the cat. How do you feel about the seat width?
@@zeromileadv It is wider than other bike I've ridden. That said, it is comfortable. I'm also 6'1" so not much of a bother.
Well done, I agree the Norden is the best
Great video. When doing the BDR's do you prefer the Norden or would you prefer your CRF450RL? Why?

@zeromileadv are you scared of the camshafts of the norden? that's my only gripe
@@nikko8650 great question. We have a great dealer out here so I’m not too concerned

Did Triumph fix the issue with weak factory crash bars?

Ninguna de las 2. Mejor y mas barata la CfMoto 450 MT 😊
Como es la fiabilidad y potencia con el 450? Tengo una Honda 450RL y no me gustaria usarla como moto de aventura
Better buy one before KTM goes out of business 😂
