Hansa Yatra is an offering brought to you Kum. Sivasri Skandaprasad, Shri Vinay Varanasi, Shri N. Chandrasekhar, and Shri Jaidev Haridoss. They are a team of artistes with deep passion and interest in taking people on spiritual and musical journeys through stories and songs.
Their endeavour has been to make people a part of their journeys. They conduct walks and concerts covering different themes. Today, they will be presenting Hansa Yatra, a unique experience combining storytelling and music for the next 2 hours as we explore the life and teachings of Shri Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa Thakur.
We are truly overwhelmed by your response to this first edition of the Hansa Yatra in West Bengal. In Thakur's infinite Grace, a small conversation which took place in Chennai just 3 months ago, has today evolved something greater. Sivasri thaye, from the moment I happened to listen to your rendition which was indeed bhajan/abhang
I became your ardent fan. Later I listened to your various repertoire and my admiration for your singing
talent only got increased manifold. In fact it is your voice and your own unique style of singing,especially
namasankeertan have captivated me immensely. Never before did I fall for any particular rendition by
any singer as much as I have for your rendition of Jo naam ka...which is simply out of this mundane

Vinay again, one small query - why there is no mention of Radha's name in the scriptures? There are
plenty of temples for Draupathy alone, but not even one for just Radha. Some say that Radha and
Krishna were one and the same. Your new revelation of Shiva and Parvathy making this avathar with
Gender change is startling to say the least. I would love to hear more on this subject from you. Thank

Incidentally, I myself lived in Calcutta for three decades till the beginning of this century. How I wish I lived there now and be in the same boat to listen to you both in person.
