True plug-ins makes sound good but I’ve seen global chatting hits been made in open-plan kitchen with no sound proofing and all native plugins/effects apart from autotune

C6 is so much better than the c4. The c4 is unbearable if u dnt hav an industry level vocal recording. Alot of Waves plugins were designed to work for perfectly recorded vocals in perfect rooms. The c4 is trash, so is the rvox

@@KJSbeats i like neutron 4 eq, fabfilter was/is too expensive for just an EQ plugin. Yet fabfilter has some extra abilities. Then again stock EQ mostly are just used for low end and high end passing, because a bigger EQ plugin might have a better curve for better sound (noticeable), but you can get such a sound further along the mixing process with some saturation / transient processing. So in the end, these high-end paid EQ plugins offer saturation/better rounded off eq curve for low-high passes. If im not mistaken. I'm an intermediate at audio knowledge.
You also just don’t always need it. I used to use it every time and it can very easily make a vocal feel unnatural. It can be good for controlling harshness on a really aggressive performance. I think if you compress a vocal properly, you’ve essentially neutralized frequency spikes and you can shape the vocal with EQ
RVOX is traaasssshhhh, unless u already hav an industry level vocal recorded thru a high quality mic, pre EQ’d and compressed, RVOX is gna smash ur signal and make it unbearable… Ive never got a vocal to sound great w an RVOX and more than likely, u, the person reading this, hasnt either 😂
Thats the whole idea,good recordings to begin with is the job of the artist/producer. Its like saying a certain mic is bad because it doesnt work on the vocal or instrument you recorded through it. Good recording is key! The rest is just tools and to much hype around plugins these days imho. Cheers ✌️
@@RapperRemedi most of us have bad rooms and cheap mics…its only so good a recording can be in a cheap situation which imo makes this plugin non conducive to most engineers/producers. If its a good plugin, i should b able to dial in a favorable sound w it on a non perfect source…if not, then its simply not useful. In Rvox’s case, its the image smearing tht makes it sound so bad and Rcomp, CLA-76, CLA-2A etc. doesnt do this. I feel that its just a bad algorithm… Btw , i dnt personally like Jaycen Joshuas mixes either.

Not really. An EQ, a medium compressor, another gentler compressor. Add saturation if needed.
