    I have the same packout and husky tool tote. Dont have the vacuum though.
    Unfortunately the wheels broke on my packout after 6 months of fairly heavy use. They want $40 for plastic wheels and I'm not sure if I want to spend the money, feel like they should send them to me for free. I love Milwaukee tools and try to only buy there power tools but I'm a little disappointed with my $300 packout that now sits at the house because it can't roll anymore.
    Nice set up man, really liking what you've put together. You Need to get that radio bro, it's only 300 bucks...

    As an electrician you only need a small pouch for 90% of what you do... linesman pliers, strippers, side cutters, water pump pliers "channel locks" in layman's terms, hacksaw, multi driver, beater blade, knife, level, tape measure, flashlight, pen, pencil and a volt tick. The last 10% is what takes a stack of tool boxes to fulfill. I am guilty of this but I have a mini job box by van vault to protect them because I don't trust those overpriced plastic pack outs. Nice setup and great video!

      But our paychecks are what make us buy tools correct ? When I first started 3 years ago as a apprentice I hated borrowing tools , before I was a put mechanic for drifting and hated to even borrow a socket or battery or jack ... I’m 3 years into industrial and I have my 3 pack out boxes loaded ... sometimes I have more tools than the journey man ... it helps to have all than none.. my company provides tools but it’s annoying to walk 10 mins to the trailer and walk back to get back to work and so forth ..

    I'm disappointed that you still have to carry a Husky bag for hand tools. I was hoping to eliminate the old broken down bag and be able to organize the hammers, screw drivers, etc.
    By the way sparky, you better get your insulated tools and screw drivers, and not put them in a regular tool bag like that. All my insulated tools go in a protective box. Really don't like going live too much, but, even a little bitty knick on them is all it takes to jolt the old bones awake, or dead. As you say, safety first.

    Read many comments and was a little appalled that some of you say that this man has to many tools for an apprentice... My thoughts are that anyone that goes into a trade and doesn't invest in tools he cannot work as well or as professionally as his colleagues. The proper tools can make you work faster than the pace of an apprentice then it is only time for you to learn your trade better and speed up your process. If you like what you do and want to do it for the rest of your life you must invest in the best tool you can afford,... You should buy the tool only when you need it and preferably only when you have the money to pay for it. It is people that have pride in their work that invest in themselves and their work. I believe tools for some men are like jewelry for some women or a new expensive suit for some business men. This is a way for pros and even apprentices to put their best foot forward...

    • @krich106
      @krich106 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not mad at all the tools. Just can't believe he brings all that to each and every single job site. I'd just take what I need, you'll know after first day. Rotate in the tools you need, out with what you don't per job. I don't see a single problem with owning them all, makes anybody more useful. I just wouldn't wanna lug them all around always.

      Well said Pasquale,I am a union finish carpenter. I just recently purchased the pack out system I got the new two wheel cart extra large toolbox and two of the regular size toolboxes and one medium size clear lid organizer for all my screws. I have the typical battery operated multi tool, circular saw, jigsaw. And I have a power planer and belt sander in my extra large toolbox. Then I put all my other handtools Makita impact drill,laser etc..in the other two medium size toolboxes. And my screw organizer. And I put my 4’and2’ levels and 2’ square on the rack system on the back of the two wheel cart. It works great for me because you never know what tool you may need installing cabinets wall paneling reception desk etc. I love my pack out set up.
