Platchat here complaining about the Mercy pocket when literally at t500 and pro play, it's quite impossible to play Pharah without a mercy. It's just not doable cause everyone is that good and you will need the synergy. That being said, most of you could have a 24/7 mercy pocket and still not be nearly as good as he is.

It's entirely because Pharah/Mercy rolls bronzies so it makes their amoeba brain mad when they see it. YZNSA is a fantastic player and his reads are godly, playing Pharah (even with a pocket) as well as he does at t500 is inhuman.

this is easy for a pharah, tracer has an exact distance they blink and the game allows you to know in which direction. I always listen for their recall and count their blinks so i know exactly where to shoot and when to preshoot where they recalled from so when they go back they arrive to a rocket in their face. Pharah is a projectile hero so most or all pharah mains have highly developed anticipation skills.
Montages always look like this. If you actually watch a game it doesnt look like this, what this does is skip all the missed shots lol.
It's like if this guy has a death note that says "Tracer: dies by a rocket after 1 recall and 2 jumps"
I went from gold 5 to Plat 1 in less than 2 weeks. I'm trying to get to diamond tonight. The way he stays in the air so long and hides behind rooftops and everything cover. Has helped so much. I use to main zarya and tank in OW1 I never played dps because of the 10 min wait times. And I've never been above 2200 in dps and here I am watching the Pharah god himself and im climbing! Thank you!

I feel like picking Pharah and Mercy is still a challenge because you're versing Top 500 players who are insanely godly with Hitscan players, not to mention that these Hitscan players are ALSO being pocketed by Mercy and still losing against YNZSA. That just shows how skillful YNZSA must be to play a Hero where hitscans dominate the game and the platform he's playing on... Imagine versing players who are just as good as Shroud in fps shooters.
This is why ynzsa is the best pharah. Literally shows 76, widow and echo highlights..
man i love playing pharah, shes so fun, as long as ur not against a rlly good cassidy, soldier or something you pretty much have free reign. Although the dps moiras are annoying if you cant get far away enough. Its kinds cool to see how far I've come since I have similar behaviours as pharah, I just really need to work on my prediction shots and aiming at other people also in the air.
Room code: Z735Y should help with shooting aerial targets. You 1v1 a pharah bot that has pretty good accuracy. This seriously helped my prediction accuracy.

He is the best pharah to ever play the game and it was always between him an DDING for me but he's earned the #1. Look stans of him will get mad but as a flex supp player who has played both with and against him several times the dude can be super harsh to you if you don't give him every resource and hard pocket but I guess that's pharah players unfortunately. Genji and widow players fall into the same position
I'm playing her in diamond and I feel like I'm the opposite. I don't ever ask for a mercy even when our comp is like lucio/moira and it actually hurts the team because she really does need supports that can heal her and in a perfect world a zarya. I was playing her recently and I had an ana giving me Nanos and a mercy pocketing me which is super rare in diamond. We capped with almost 3 minutes on the clock. But they went bap and kiriko on defense because the enemy had hitscan, which they had the whole game, and just got super toxic towards me trying to pressure me and just stopping to type and belittle me in match chat. I'm good on pharah, I have very high accuracy with her rockets, so tbh I get where he's coming from being that aggressive to his supports. He's amazing on pharah, he can carry, and he's known for streaming and earns a living from playing pharah. Just the amount of toxicity you get for playing this hero, I'll probably be the same way if I ever get to GM. I do switch, in that case I didn't because I just didn't want to contribute to letting such a toxic group of people win. If you have a pharah on your team it's best to just go mercy and give them at least like 3-4 minutes to make some plays because dps takes time you have to set up and wait for an opportunity. If they can't perform then they need to switch.

people in the comments are the same people that miss Zarya/rein , and the same people that always simp nano blade, and cry about pharah mercy being played, Yazan has games against kragie, wanted, and dafran and even 2 of these people in the same time against him, sometimes they are pocketed, and even then its most likely for yznsa to win the match, pharah is a crippled hero alone, her ult is one of the most exposed ults in the games, you stand in the air exposed for any long ranged snipes and hitscans if you don't kill them, nano makes pharah immortal, it's like a rein that got nano + gravity, and we saw these in pro plays for ages now, I guess it is hard to understand that when most of the people just hate pharah and her playstyle, ignoring the fact that if pharah was easy, why is there only 5 people playing pharah in the top 100, the top 500 is filled with genji and widow players, like 50% of the top 500 are either widow or genji mains these require the same amount of attentio b y the team like pharah does, and no one critcize them.

How do you turn homing missiles on?
Just simply having a mercy healing/damage boosting you does not automatically give you this level of mechanical skill and game knowledge. Anyone who thinks his gameplay is discredited because he simply has a healer doing their job has probably never breached diamond (and if they keep that attitude they never will)

She should probably have shields or something at least, if she's got a mercy pocket then shields won't do anything, shields will let play a bit more independent without also making her tankier

It's interesting how people think phara is boring I have some of the most fun with her as dps at least for me
For me she got boring to play in low elo lobbies because she steamrolled them. Recently I climbed to plat dps and it’s much more challenging to play pharrah well against better teams and hitscans. the challenge makes her super fun, especially when the entire enemy team swaps to counter you. it’s like the biggest compliment
@@claykimbley7187 hard agree. I'm a pharah main and love it when their whole team shifts to counter just me and they still can't do much about it. It's really a confidence booster and high praise when their whole comp switches to take care of one person and they still can't get the job done properly.

Ppl must hate pharah, I had another pharah and mercy on the other team, they started to kill my mercy n tbag. So I took it personally and diffed their pharah while my mercy was still healing the rest of my team. I would always target his mercy then snipe her out the air and then snipe their pharah with my pharah. I swear one time I even landed on the enemy pharahs head mid air😂

Ok, these are impressive, but come on, gotta admit that the mercy pocket carried somewhat
Any topp500 mercy can dps boost and heal yznsa and get results. But they can't guide those rockets to their targets. Also, his fast-paced movement actually carried Mercy. Bad phara movement and missing shots while boosted often gets mercy killed in an attempt to keep her alive if she can't get the kills. His air control and fast engage/disengage vertically and horizontally while firing precise shots and manage her booster and keep momentum with the Concussive Blast for flying is not really comparable. The mercy got good movement/positioning, but that and doing a few callouts, it's the only thing she has to focus on. There is a reason yznsa got 5-6 accounts in top 10 EU and at the same time hold rank1 in Asia America and Europe consistently.
Almost every kill, he had a mercy on him - sadly, I got down ranked and now I can only get a mercy like once every 10 games, and most healers ignore me. Not because I am not doing well solo, but because its too fucking hard for them to LOOK UP. Still climbing back up, but it takes way longer.
Need to start adding mercys to my friends list. (good ones)
