Watching this after seeing Volume 0 in theaters, and *SPOILERS* seeing all the praise Yuta is getting makes me feel so happy for him, from how he started, being too scared to now being respected and even feared by other sorcerers.

Yuta himself is a sorcerer now and just like how yuji doesn't need sukuna's cursed energy the same way Yuta doesn't need rika's cursed energy.He has trained enough to be a powerful sorcerer himself. It is said that he has more cursed energy than gojo,but it gets extinguished quickly in contrast to gojo. Bonus points: 1)Yuta can sti call Rika for a short period of time to him. 2) Yuta has his own cursed technique called (mimicry)

He later comes back in a later arc (that will get covered in season 2) And now is one of the heads of the current arc along with megumi and yuji. If you have some time you can watch the movie which has 100% of the volume story and about 30% of expanding on the scenes. A great adaptation.

Just finished watching the movie and man it was good. I really liked Yuta’s character even tho we only saw him for almost 2 hours (I’m still indecisive if I like Yuta more then Yuji lol) but they did a really good job showing his character/power off. I can’t wait to see him again interact with Yuji in the future and see how much stronger he’s gotten since the last time we saw him.

After seeing 0, I can't believe i missed all the times Yuta was mentioned...hell, all the times he was shown in the anime. He really does feel like missing piece of Jujutsu lore now. Itadori technically isn't even the first main character, so it makes sense.
Yeah Gojo mentioned Yuta, Hakari, and Yuji as one day equalling him. Also, in his discussion with Gakuganji he was explaining how the classification of special grade won’t be the limit of students such as Yuta, Yuji, and Todo. Lastly, Gojo said that Megumi has just as much ability and potential as Yuji. So we have Yuta, Hakari, Todo, Yuji, and Megumi that are hyped up major by the self proclaimed (and so far proven) strongest sorcerer

Can't belive people praised Gege for going in this direction either. It's extremely difficult to stay fully invested in the characters you love when _you know_ their arcs can (or already have been) cut short in extremely unsatisfying ways. After Nobara died a pathetic, needless death, I was fully prepared to put down the series altogether. Yuta is the only other character I really care about on a personal level. If he's gone, I won't have anything left to latch onto.
Well, I am here after reading an arc on okkotsu in manga. I will just say this guy is completely different from what he was in movie. This man is going to break everywhere when gets animated. My man hakari is one heck of a god too.
He WAS a protagonist, but his story ended faster due to him being written as a broken character. If it is just Yuta, JJK would have be a 1 season anime.

JJK is my favorite anime rn because of the fact that ALL the characters are great. I don't think I really have a favorite JJK character because they're all respectable and formidable in their own ways. Like I think any character could be the MC, which should be the standard honestly.

I think Yuta is a truly amazing character, his development during the movie was amazing. As far as I know, Yuta is very strong and undefeated

Just finished watching the movie and man it was good. I really liked Yuta’s character even tho we only saw him for almost 2 hours (I’m still indecisive if I like Yuta more then Yuji lol) but they did a really good job showing his character/power off. I can’t wait to see him again interact with Yuji in the future and see how much stronger he’s gotten since the last time we saw him.
He’s like Gojo op right now in the manga 😅.

Also, in his discussion with Gakuganji he was explaining how the classification of special grade won’t be the limit of students such as Yuta, Yuji, and Todo. Lastly, Gojo said that Megumi has just as much ability and potential as Yuji. So we have Yuta, Hakari, Todo, Yuji, and Megumi that are hyped up major by the self proclaimed (and so far proven) strongest sorcerer

Can't belive people praised Gege for going in this direction either. It's extremely difficult to stay fully invested in the characters you love when _you know_ their arcs can (or already have been) cut short in extremely unsatisfying ways. After Nobara died a pathetic, needless death, I was fully prepared to put down the series altogether. Yuta is the only other character I really care about on a personal level. If he's gone, I won't have anything left to latch onto.
