Great vid as always. One thing I want to mention though, I actually disagree with you for not recommending taking your Aerodactyl to lvl 50 as rock type Pokémons are often used against flying type legendary Pokémons (and there's multiple of them too). Mega Aerodactyl, being flying typing itself, often serves a dual purpose of boosting (flying type) legendaries XL candies and boosting rock type damage in raid. Just my 2 cents though.
@joeysblind Mega Aerodactyl is very strong, I just checked a few counters for flying type legendaries on pokebattlers and Mega Aerodactyl is often as good if not stronger (time to win wise) than Mega Tyranitar. Also, the only strictly stronger mega than it is actually Mega Diancie which not everyone has at lvl 3 yet anyway. Being lvl 50 instead of 40 also gives it additional bulk for it to stay in the fight for a bit longer boosting other players rock type Pokémons in the process. I might pass as a bit of a sweaty tryhard but I still think it's worth it to lvl 50 your best IV Aerodactyls (even better and cheaper if it's lucky).
Thank you for this perspective, I think you are 100% right. In those situations where the raid boss is flying, it has a great dual benefit. Gonna try to give Mega Aerodactyl more love moving forward
@@RowdyBoy82 i found it. It looks like it’s under adventure week taken over if you click that it’s 1 day left to remove frustration, it’s going on now if you click the binoculars and look under your daily rewards for research. You can remove frustration right now.
i just got back into the game this month after not playing since early 2018ish what is the benefit of special trading or what is special trading i thought there was only like trade normal pokemon
Hey Lucky, thanks for all of the great videos! I have a general question and was wondering if you knew: Does catching a pokemon with dual typing while a mega of the same dual typing is active increase the chances of getting XL candy? I.e. am I more likely to get XL candy catching a Gible with a Mega Garchomp active than with something like Swampert, Salamence, etc?
Literally looked for this vid a couple hours ago! Thanks for all you do lucky!! As somebody that isn’t that great at the game I appreciate all the work you do.
Completely forgot about shadow groudon lmfao i tried twice on kyogre and got nothing good only did one for groudon was hoping for something better with the next rotation
Yes. The stardust rewards from battling are the first and the fifth, but realistically you’re not going to get 5/5 often, so only the first win gives stardust, so you throw the other 4 battles to get more stardust per battles. Even if you could get 5/5 consistently, the most stardust per match is going 1/5, because then you get a stardust reward for every single match wind, while in 5/5 you get 2 stardust rewards for 5 wins
you only get them from rocket research quests, they give us one every rocket event. if you stay on page 1 of the research quests then you can stack them
Lucky, I'm confused in this video you said Shadow Groudon is still available to get from Giovanni, but a few videos ago you said you can no longer get Shadow Groudon. Which is true?
I feel like all they have to do to fix eggs is to allow you to choose what exact Pokémon hatches out of the pool they give you. Then eggs would be fun. Example for this event, 7km egg pool has those 6, and you’re able to choose 1 of them each time you incubate.
It cant be truly answered at the moment. It all depends on if it can learn dragon decent and if it can learn the move how many Meteorites you have. I would also consider the odd's of you ever being able to do them in raid's. A shadow Rayquaza raid is a lot easier than a shadow Groudon.
As mentioned in the other comment, it's tough to answer right now. If Shadow Rayquaza is able to learn Dragon Ascent by using a meteorite on it, then Rayquaza would be the move, but we won't know until it gets released. I'll be honest though, I am very doubtful that Niantic will allow this. Personally, I just used one radar on Shadow Groudon.
Sorry but it's just not true that puried Apex Lugia with Aeroblast++ is stronger than Shadow Apex Lugia with Aeroblast+. It's true though that Aeroblast++ is better than Aeroblast+ but if you purify it you lose the higher Shadow attack stat bonus which make it worse all in all. I measured both on Pokebattler so i'm pretty sure you're wrong in this matter.
I never said purified APEX Lugia was better than the shadow; I said that the moveset becomes better when purified. (10:05) Lugia is not something you want to use for raid battles anyway; its only relevance is in the Master League for PvP. When used in PvP, both Aeroblast+ and Aeroblast++ are debuffed to the same power as regular Aeroblast.
Probably a HOT take but I'm hoping they make up for no gen 8 fossils in the adventure week event by adding them to the "triumph together" event. The gen 8 fossils are basically science experiments where they mash together 2 different Pokemon halfs. Might be a stretch but.. Would be cool to see them.
It's probably because powering it up is not easy for diance since you would need to use alot of rare candy and xl which you very rarely. I wonder if they will ever do a mega diance raid event?
In terms of DPS, Mega Diancie is better. In terms of ER (DPS * TDO^3), Mega Tyranitar is essentially the same. When considering accessibility, Mega Diancie is extremely difficult to power up from Level 40 to Level 50 due to the XL candy barrier.
does the grow together ticket bonus 5x XP on first poke stop spin stack with the adventure week? making it a 25x? if it stacks. The first PokéStop you visit in a day will have a bonus of 500 XP and for the 7th day in a row, you will earn a bonus of 2500 XP the grow better together ticket gives bonus 5x XP for the first pokestop spin of the day 500 x 5 = 2500XP for first spin each day for the rest of season. 2500 x 5 = 12,500XP for the 7th day steak for the rest of season. if it stacks with the adventure week August 2 to august 12 gives bonus 5x XP on first spin of day. giving you a 25x multiplier for first spin for 10 days. 500 x 25 = 12,500XP for first spin each day during adventure week with grow together ticket and a whopping 2500 x 25 = 62,500 XP for 7 day streak pokestop spin during adventure week with grow together ticket you can probably time your streak to get it on the first day of adventure week and get a second one close to the end of the event. potentially getting (62,500 x 2) + (12,500 x 8) = 220,000XP you can potentially get just spinning stops during adventure week
Weird how it says nothing about the makeup Rayquaza day on the third

doesn’t need to be lvl 50 tho, i’d rather have it mega lvl three and just power up better rock mons.

Aerodactyl is slept on.
Mega Aerodactyl is my preferred mega Rock type for raiding since normally when I want raid with a rock type, it's against flying type Pokémon so 👌
Same !! Such an awesome mega
I swear mega Aggron has been in rotation multiple times this past six months, lol.
Really hoping mega Gardevoir or Garchomp return soon
same ive been wanting a shiny Gardevoir plus get the mega energy for Gardevoir and Garchomp
Gardevoir is definitely one I want badly

I would love to see Mega Gardevoir back in raid battles
I would be cool with Garde, Chomp, Ttar or Mence honestly, lacking energy for the latter 3

Can you explain the 1-4 method? do you just aim to win 1 fight per set and then tank? Im looking to getting in gbl for dust
Yes. The stardust rewards from battling are the first and the fifth, but realistically you’re not going to get 5/5 often, so only the first win gives stardust, so you throw the other 4 battles to get more stardust per battles.

Win one fight and throw the other four just to get the stardust. If you don't have the time or want to do all the fights

how do you get and stack super rocket radars?
you only get them from rocket research quests, they give us one every rocket event. if you stay on page 1 of the research quests then you can stack them

Is force palm better than counter on lucario as a raid attacker?
I bet triumph together will either be a party related event or will be the swords of justice

does the grow together ticket bonus 5x XP on first poke stop spin stack with the adventure week? making it a 25x?
if it stacks. The first PokéStop you visit in a day will have a bonus of 500 XP and for the 7th day in a row, you will earn a bonus of 2500 XP
the grow better together ticket gives bonus 5x XP for the first pokestop spin of the day

2500 x 5 = 12,500XP for the 7th day steak for the rest of season.

2500 x 25 = 62,500 XP for 7 day streak pokestop spin during adventure week with grow together ticket
