Good to see you back Matthew 😎👌 @YesterdaysTrips . That UFO album is awesome . Thanks for showing some great vinyl guys ! That Hawkwind album is actually Pre-Lemmy Hawkwind not post. It is their second studio album . Lemmy’s first is Doremi Fasol Latino in 1972 .

@@sorinvinyl1523 They had John A Harrison on the first album , Dave Anderson for In Search of Space . After this Lemmy who was a guitarist played bass by accident as the bass player never showed up in 1972 before Doremi Fasol Latido . He was quoted as saying he ‘learned to play bass onstage’ . Nik Turner told him to make some noises in A . That’s were his unorthodox technique started 😂😂What a legend !

Great random picks guys. Definitely a format worth repeating. Took me years to finally buy Hawkwind LPs. Space rock perfectly seems to describe the sound. Lovely that sealed SAC. I must revisit their lps haven't had them on for many years. Cheers Nige

Hey man. Love random pulls. Remains are top shelf. Armageddon is a solid record that you can find on the cheap. Bubble Puppy is legendary. Bull Angus didn't reinvent the wheel or anything, but it's good enough. UFO2 is outstanding. Can't go wrong with early Hawkwind. Or Strawberry Alarm Clock for that matter. That Remains record is awesome! There was a Live Studio album that I picked up a few years ago It was an audition they played for a record label that went unreleased for years Check it out if you haven’t as the band cranks it up and goes all out on that one!
That Armageddon LP is everything yall said and more! Def cheap heat! I love the opening track It grabs ya right from the word Go! Great outing by the virtual “supergroup”!
Man I’ve been eyeballing that Bull Angus album for awhile and missed a couple opportunities to grab it as the price was a bit high for me but I’ll land that sucker eventually.
Found a nice copy of that UFO LP at a local shop a few years back and I totally agree It’s a killer space rock banger!
Speaking of space rock, that Hawkwind will take ya there for sure Such a great record! Check out Space Ritual if you haven’t already You also mentioned Do Re Mi album which continues to elude me Ugh!

Two videos of bangers in one day!!! Bull Angus is one of the first records I found when I started collecting again good hard rock 🔥Bubble Puppy also very cool had to bring in some trades when I picked that up. Hawkwind and Strawberry Alarmclock 🔥🔥

The Remains! America's greatest lost band. Fun fact, the Remains keyboard player who's name is Bill Briggs (still living) was the older brother of Marilyn Briggs AKA Marilyn Chambers, the 1970s porn star. 🍓⏰ That's the one I need!

I mistakenly thought that "Live Evil" was from the Fillmore West concerts when Miles and the Grateful Dead played back-to-back; turns out that is actually on the "Black Beauty" album.

Some pretty cool picks there guys. I remember buying the Armageddon album when it came out, jeez showing my age! Great stuff. "Wake Up, It's Tomorrow" is my fave S.A.C. album by far. I picked it up for £1!, when we had a new record store open up in our town, probably around 1977. They had a rack of £1 albums, and although some of the bands were unknown to me at the time, I grabbed them because the covers looked interesting, including "Outside Looking In" by Tangerine Zoo, "Together (As A Way Of Life) by Illusion, which is pretty decent heavy rock, and also Mind Garage (not so hot).
Wake Up It's Tomorrow is definitely my favorite SAC album as well. Tangerine Zoo for £1 is incredible. Mind Garage is cool, I need to find their albums. ✌☮
@@sorinvinyl1523 Interesting how many bands seemed to hit the mark more on their sophomore efforts than on their debuts. The SAC, Prunes, PBC, Tangerine Zoo. Amboy Dukes all spring to mind, as they seemed to have a more garagey/folk vibe on their debuts before honing their sounds.
@@brucster99b2 a lot of bands find themselves more on their second release. Maybe it has to do with a little less control from the label and management.
@@sorinvinyl1523 Yeah, ya could be right. For example, Ohio Express were mainly known for their bubblegum music, but if you get a chance to hear their second album, it features four killer tracks amongst the poppy stuff. Artistic freedom coming at ya! Same goes for the Lemon Pipers. They also did their fair share of psych gems.
