Also, man. It's kinda screwed up that Earth seems to feel like she *has* to forgive someone who almost killed her in order to maintain her status as "being nice/a nice person." Maybe I misunderstood what she meant there, but I do know there are a lot of fans who are cross with the celestial siblings for having feelings and *not* just sitting back and taking Nexus's shit.

Yes. I swear, still liking Nexus after all he's done is okay, but ignoring how everyone was, ya know, traumatized after Sun and Earth confronted Nexus, is just denying that New Moon is still a good person. He didn't even want help in the first place, so why are you blaming it on Sun, Earth, and Lunar who are the victims? They also ignore the fact that Earth had almost gotten disintegrated by Nexus, and they still just blame it on Sun, Earth, Lunar, and Monty for not helping him. They've tried.
Earth doesn’t have to forgive Nexus or Ruin for what they done. She was never their keeper. And if she knew if Ruin had the option again he would still go with killing Solar and those 57 trillions of dimensions without hesitation.

Sun has had so much good and so much bad with BOTH Moons now, his poor head and heart must be spinning beyond words. Honestly it's for the best that he's decided to take a step back emotionally from them both, and just try to gather his thoughts for a while.

What frustrates me, is that Earth keeps saying NMoon tried to kill her, but he was literally trying to kill everyone, including himself.... And I was so confused when all the characters say that this whole thing was about EGO... and because this is the show.... This means that they are correct.... But if you examine NewMoon's behavior, it wasn't about ego? It was about a place of vulnerability and missing his Brother. That was it... Like he just missed Solar and wanted him back... It really was that simple. He even said he would do the same for any of his family, and I don't doubt it. He also had huge self-expectations and self-hatred... What OldMoon said to Newmoon when he was at his lowest point... caused him to spiral lower. That HIS happiness doesn't matter. He's holding himself back, and he should kill himself if it makes his family happy..... Old Moon felt guilty he said that when he learned what happened to NMoon.... So NMoon wasn't bringing Solar back, just because of Ego... IT WAS LACK OF EGO. It was crippling Self-doubt. The idea that he couldn't do anything right. The idea that he's only useful to the family for the "Stuff he made" (something Old Moon struggled with too) and then to see Nexus proven right when he found out he was INSTANTLY replaced...... like... I am not looking forward to what the coming week brings. (Not that I disagree with the Celestial Family's perspective... I'm just utterly baffled that no character brings up a different view point, or even sees Nexus's side of the story Some could say, "he brought this on himself" and sure... somewhat... But at the same time, no one in this family grieved together and everyone was left alone. Moon especially. )
Nexus wasn't REPLACED. The chip with Moon in it was found floating in space. If you see a chip which you KNOW contains your dead used to be best friend in it you aren't just gonna NOT pick it up and bring him back. And YES there was talk about just switching the two out, but it was because Nexus was genuinely dangerous and they didn't know what ELSE to do. Yes, Moon wasn't exactly the best, but at least he wasn't trying to blow people up without his family's consent. Besides, if they can switch him once, they could probably switch back, or even just remove Moon from the head to make them separate later. It was pretty much a temporary option. He could've gotten Earth out first, he could've done ANYTHING to help her, but he still shot it anyway. He wasn't trying to bring himself along either, because the blast wouldn't have done that, as if Puppet was able to absorb most of the damage but not all of it, it was probably a beam, which means it wouldn't have hit him, cause it was aimed towards them and not at himself in anyway.
This isn't meant to be offensive! Just putting it out there!😭
Not to mention, Nexus is not a moon anymore, so he wasn’t being replaced
@@CosmicCloud403 I'm not disagreeing. But I don't mean he was LITERALLY replaced. I mean like he was metaphorically replaced as his role in the story. Just like Solar replaced Monty as Moons best friend. They make it feel like NMoon was just holding the bag until OMoon got back this whole time and he was thrown away and put into the villian role all too quickly and I didn't like this turn of events. I hope things get better for Nexus. But I can easily see him dying within a year
@@Dana_Brain I personally think the villain role is fitting. Nexus’s entire being is based off of being better than someone. But being a better brother also means sacrificing parts of himself, like the want to build, to create, because he doesn’t want to hurt others. Because the things that Moon made STILL often cause them problems. When Moon told him he’s never been inferior and that he’s holding himself back out of fear, that broke him. The chains of self control were gone and like Moons always do, he immediately goes to the extreme. (Moons are impulsive, don’t argue with me, it’s not an insult in anyway, it’s just an observation that they can be very impulsive, even LUNARS impulsive.)
But he wants to be seen as a good brother, so what does he do to cover up his actions when his family doesn’t like the idea? He disguises them as purely wanting to bring Solar back. He DOES want to bring Solar back, because he DOES miss Solar, but he ALSO wants to do something for himself, just to know he CAN because he couldn’t before. He was always dumber, so he wants to be smarter for once… but in the process, he loses those close to him. It’s tragic, AND it hurts, but that’s the truth.😭😭
He also shouted "buh-bye, BLOODMOON". He tried to kill BM, he only saw red in that moment and because he thought he was the villain now, he couldn't see any reason or even his sister. He knows how dangerous star power is, that it could've killed everyone in that room, including himself. I see the persona of Nexus more of a mask for him, to distance himself from his building feelings of guilt, he felt guilty in space about what he did to Earth, and he tries to hide behind that to avoid his pain. NewMoon reminds me of the Horror Kid of TLoZ Majoras Mask right now. With Dark Sun possibly being Majora.
I hope so, so much for him to get redeemed, he's not evil, he's mentally ill and needs proper treatment and help 😢💔🌙

@EmilySpiritExT yeah, Ruin was also doing very bad. Wiping out entire dimensions, killing many innocent lives in order to get rid of the creator's council. But with how everything went down recently, slowing down Eclipse and the process of Solar's return, Nexus's origin mostly lies with Dark Sun.
