In the past when Eclipse was New Moon's lab rat and Solar was around too , they both hated each other, and Eclipse brought Solar back only because Earth was very sad about it , so i don't think its a good idea for a therapy session 😅

Edit: I forget how isolated Sun and Moon are. They never got visitors outside of the children they had to take care of. So Sun's advice to himself being "be the friend you never had" is gutting. I hope Puppet can take this information and keep trying to be Sun's friend, maybe even encourage others around the place to hang out with him because he needs company

I love how Solar is trying to give Puppet advice on how to approach Eclipse. I'm curious as to what he whispered to her. Also glad she got to talk to Sun again and even ask him for advice on how to handle the situation with Sunshine and Moonlight. "Be the friend you never had." Kinda expected her to give Sunshine the advice there and then but she might be too mentally exhausted to do so.

In the end, Puppet acts kinda uninterested about inviting Eclipse, so I wonder if the advice had something to do with that as it ACTUALLY gained Eclipses attention. Eclipse is a curious individual so it makes sense he would be interested if there's something to find out.

Ngl, was kinda nice to see Sun get so real with Puppet there. Just truly shows how much he's grown over time, it's bittersweet and heart-warming. I'm sad that Puppet is having doubts about her decision, hopefully things look up soon.
The fact that Solar immediately knew what nightmare Eclipse had based on what he was screaming is heartbreaking.
"Be the friend you never had." That explains so much about Sun. And I'm glad someone finally told puppet that things take time. This Sun and Moon haven't had time to adjust to changes. Sun had the pain stopped by force. He was scared and Eclipse didn't care. But those words might be perfect to tell him... maybe not now, though.
I am curious what Solar told Puppet.
All that said, I feel bad for puppet. She's getting so homesick.

i hope the advice Sun gave for the other one helps. that's the motto that helped me as an isolated child, honestly. i was angry and prickly until I realized I could just be the person I wanted to find. maybe it'd help Eclipse, too.
Eclipse actually felt like hanging out for once and Puppet just wants to leave. That is upsetting. I kinda get it, but i hope Puppet doesn't leave or this wouldn't be the show it currently is without her.
I'm gonna guess this happened before Solar met with Nexus since he's not troubled here like he was in the episode earlier. I'm glad he also tried to give Puppet advice on how to become friends with Eclipse. I do hope she uses it, and i hope that Sunshine listens to the advice that Sun passed to Puppet.
I think that MIGHT be what Solar whispered in Puppets ear. Act like you don’t care but subtly give him the option to join. Leave it ambiguous. Eclipse is a naturally curious person. Where there’s something interesting, he WANTS to know. He found Earth interesting because she was INCREDIBLY kind and he didn’t understand that-

She just wants to go back to the main dimension. I don't think she expected Eclipse to ask about it. I think she expected him to say no like he usually does.
I don’t think she’ll leave the Show. I think she means leave this dimension and move back to the main dimension, but unfortunately she eclipse cannot do that.

It was nice to see Solar and Puppet reunite. Also, Puppet getting advice from Sun to tell the other version of him was a good idea. When hearing about how the other Sun made friends with the cardboard cutouts and a trashcan, I could feel how low it was without a second thought. Yeah, he really needs some more friends. We can all agree on that I think

It's so funny I subbed to you and immediately got confused about names again
Young kids act the way sun did, and in the episode when he first really talks to moon he said he was scared be because "you hurts" (Moon hurts) Sun from SAMS was in there for so much longer and from one of eclipses memories even severing was painful. So he was already pretty brave to try the daycare when the lights were out after only a month after years wort of traumatic insane pain. Also according to SAMS Moon he never felt the pain Sun felt at least that was the case a year ago cause of slight inconsistancies. So I think he is just like a young child would react to if they fell of a bike and got hurt they would be scared for a while... a lot of the time.

I mean that conversation, as short as it was, did not turn out as poorly as the other conversations. Solar definitely had a point about how one should approach Eclipse; and despite all the failed attempts, he is starting to show an interest. I'm pretty sure that having this younger version of Moon interacting with him is definitely making an impact on his social skills. That, paired with all the things he learned from interacting with Earth back in the other dimension, he'll definitely come round if you give him the chance.
Once he gets through his trauma issue.
Definitely interacting with this Sun is not helping his trauma, but yeah.

Random tangent, but out of all the different versions of sun we've seen throughout these shows, I think the OG sun and moon show sun is probably my favorite. hes serious, but not too serious, and can still be sassy and what not, without bein childish or overbearin. "Dark Sun" would probably be a close second cause i share that 'i dont give a s*** about anythin' kind of mentality that he has.
