Visiting KAUFBEUREN at the Allgäu region. A town with an excelent city center and more. (Germany)

Welcome to a new video at the Allgäu region. Today we visit the city center of one of the most known towns in this region called Kaufbeuren. The town is next to the capital Kempten or Memmingen with the Allgäu Airport popular to visit for its nice streets, the places and the feeling to be in a town which is part of a beautiful region in front of the Alps. The tour through the city center of Kaufbeuren:
I visited Kaufbeuren on a sunny day in the changing time between spring and summertime 2024. Personally, I knew this town from older stays and the entire Allgäu region give me from time to time in the year a reason to come back. I went step by step into the old town. My first stop was the major house at the begin of the marking place. At next I visited the protestant pastor church called “Dreifaltigkeitskirche” in german languarge where I could go up to the first floor.
At next I went to another place called “Obstmarkt” where I walked around the small monastery of the town. At next I went up in front of the old city wall, where I saw a small church where a tower was loceated behind the church which could be build some centuries before the church was built at this place. A few minutes later I stand in front of the most famous tower of Kaufbeuren.
I finished my tour at an outlook place which is also the only place of the town where you´ll have a true view to the Allgäu alps.
The town Kaufbeuren:
Kaufbeuren is a town which is loceated at the Allgäu region and in the district east Allgäu. The town is next to Kempten, the capital or Memmingen Füssen a known town in this region. Popular to see by the tourists is the historic city center which is loceated at its west part at a hill. In the past the historic city wall was going around the full old town but in the walk of the time the wall was broken down different building where built at the place where the city wall was in the past.
Today Kaufbeuren is very good to arrive by the highway A96 and the country street. At the station the train give the passengers the opportunity to go to Kempten, Füssen, to Munich main station and Nuremberg. The dining experience present the typical Allgäu food both the sweet food as a dessert.
Known events at Kaufbeuren are the carnival line called: “Aufbruch and Umbruch”, the city June event which is called “Tänzelfest” which give memories on the visit of empire Maximilan I from the Habsburger monarchy.
