Hey Aaron great video! I’ve noticed the always on display not working. In your video your watch screen goes black. Are you experiencing this issue? Mine doesn’t stay on anymore

Hello, nice to meet you. The watch screen is cool, so I bought the Rumi app and added it to the Golden Hour Watchface. I have a question, how can I change the location of the picture and text? I'd like to change the picture to the left and text to the right like you.

I have a few apps with problems if I open and start the app on the watch and the watch goes to sleep. The app closes for instance some music app. Outlook app doesn’t work properly if I close the latest email accidentally I cannot go into the app and see the latest email.there are a lot of bugs with a lot of apps

I just updated my watch to the latest operating system. The problem is that now when I get any kind of a notification, all it says is notification ,if it’s a text or an email or whatever I used to get a little snippet of what that email or text was about, now I have to tap on the screen to see that little snippet. Any suggestions on how to get it back to the way it was, thank you, peace.

My suggestion is that it is better to make a video the first time the update appears and the download process after that, then provide a review of the update results. that seems better.
Temperature / weather complication is not updating temperature on 10.5! Need to open weather to update!
Updated my series 9…I think it downloaded at 494MB which I thought was pretty large
Been on 10.4 and ultra 2 has drained battery in a single day without any workouts etc being run. Hope this is fixed
Finally, my battery is back to normal.
I see, that's why my series7 lasts only a day before the update of 10.4 it can lasts for 2days. So now it's ok?

Hello Arron my podcast does not change colors I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max
With watchOS 10.5, the double tap gesture seems to finally (somewhat) work with the timer app on my series 9 model. The same gesture has always worked flawlessly with the Due app.
Since the update my ultra crown isn’t scrolling and I keep getting a error message about double tap 😭
After this update, my Apple Watch’s screen turn to black and not came back. I can print and I see through the iPhone the battery, but I can’t use the Apple Watch anymore. 😢
The performance is slightly better on iPhone X X, but is still laggy and glitchy on iPad seventh generation with the voiceover assistant scrolling is still the same problem

Depends on what you’d use the devices for. I don’t have an iPad no need for one really as I have the 15 pro max but I do have the Apple Watch series 9 and I love it. Not a major upgrade but the double tap comes handy all the time for me as I’m juggling home stuff and 2 kids (1 being a baby) and the precision finding between the watch and 15 model phones is a huge help as I always misplace my phone but other than that there’s not really much difference between the watches but the double storage and a couple of the features
I have the first generation of the Air and it does sll I need. IMO if you have to ask someone if you should upgrade you probably don’t need to.

I bought SE v2 2 days ago and last night after the update the date didn't appear, a white border appears instead of the date, whatever I put on it works, only the date appears border, does anyone know what could be the problem? The watch or the update?
10.5 has broken connectivity to nearly all gym equipment. The update forced “detect gym equipment” off and when you turn it on and attempt to connect, the machine endlessly beeps and connection fails. This issue has been found on all Apple Watches that have updated to 10.5.

Using the Watch Ultra 1st Gen it seems to be hit and miss with unlocking the M1 MBP 13” with the watch, but only when the watch is using the 5GHz WiFi. If it’s on 2.4GHz the laptop will unlock every time. It’s a little better than before when 5GHz WiFi unlock for the MBP with the watch failed 95% of the time when using 5GHz. The MBP is also on 5Ghz WiFi and updated with yesterday’s release as well.
This update froze my watch it won’t install it’s stuck flashing the Apple logo now
Hi Aaron! Could you tell me what the different Colors mean from the Cellular Icon in Apple Watch’s Control Center? Sometimes on my Apple Watch Ultra 2, the icon will turn Green with ‘4G’, to indicate that it’s receiving 4G service, but then other times it’s just White with the symbol of a Cell-Tower.
This has been my 1st Apple Watch with Cellular connectivity (coming from GPS only versions) so this is an aspect I am still not 100% familiar with. Would you be willing to make a video explaining this, or have you already done so in the past? Please provide a link to that video. Thank you!
White = activated but no service active because you either are connected via WiFi or Bluetooth with the iPhone.
Green = no WiFi or Bluetooth available, watch is connected to 5G service and uses 5G for everything
@@cookie_monster3200 You are correct as I have just tested that by turning off (via Settings on my iPhone) and turning Off Wi-Fi (via Settings on my Apple Watch), and I then get Green all the time with Cellular turned On.

No color = cellular disabled or no SIM installed
White = cellular enabled but not in use (either in Low Power Mode, which uses data only on demand, or connected via Wi-Fi or iPhone)
Green = cellular enabled and in use
Not sure about No Service

Mine was 148MB for my Apple Watch ultra 2 and I love the Apple Watch ultra 2!
I think my battery life has improved dramatically. I used to run through about 70% battery in 24 hours and at the moment I am about 14 hours in and have only used 16%.
In watchOS 10.4 I had so many glitches (iMessage wouldn't load new messages unless I rebooted the watch sometimes) also my battery was terrible. It's only been a day but battery is looking a little better. Will see if the glitches remain

i love my apple watch, but the face options are so played out and boring.
I love using photo but I will find images from my favourite shows or movies and then the options are endless.

My Apple watch ultra 1 that is only a month or so old has crap battery after this update. Used to use 6-8% in 8 hours now uses around 12%. Still good I know but definitely needs some optimisation.
My battery is draining much faster on my Ultra2 much faster with this new update… I just don’t get it… I’m not using it more than I used to. 😢
Wow, battery life on my ULTRA 1 has tanked with 10.5- wow really bad.

It still hasn't fix the bug since 10.4 that recent apps don't open the app they are supposed to. Double click on the crown to show recent apps and try to open one of those apps and you may see the problem I am having since 10.4. They are supposed to be ironing bugs out. Not adding new bugs. Battery lost 30% power overnight while I was sleeping. It used to be 15%. Battery life is WORSE on my series 6 since I upgraded to Watch OS 10

After installing this update my battery is running down to 55% in just a few hours on my utra watch Ver 1
They literally killed battery on ultra 1, hardly can get 2 days after update, before easily 3 days….

It finally fixed my battery life!
I have an older SE watch and the battery performance has gotten worse. My battery health is at 79%. Don’t get more than 15hours . Use to get almost three days when it was new.
My Apple Watch Ultra 2 has horrible battery life since this update. Went from 100% to 17% in 12 hours

Watch 10.5 stopped updating sleep schedules on health app in iPhone ios 17.5. Watch has the measured schedules from last night, but can’t get it to show on the health app!

I've had this watch for ages and after countless updates I've yet to notice one new feature.
Not every single update is gonna have new features…

After watchOS 10, we can see till now there is 1-3 seconds delay to open any apps which was never seen before in apple watch :(
How’s battery life compared to WatchOS 10.4?
Mine has been cut in half. Have to charge 2x per day. Series 8 watch.
@@beezee05 mine series 9 has been back to normal battery life. WatchOS 10.4 was awful. 10.5 is way better
@@CranehawkPilot I’m seeing a lot of that here. Seems I’m an outlier. I was able to go with one mid PM charge. Now I wake up and I’m at 10%.

Same. Even I haven’t updated since 10.0.2. Don’t want new features at the cost of battery drain.

Has anyone noticed that WatchOS 10 shutdown after you wear it in the morning? It’s crazy, it happens every time I wear my Apple Watch Series 4 to try to wear in the morning after it’s full charged, it shuts down afterwards a few minutes of use. I have to charge it again before I can use it again. It’s ridiculous and frustrating almost every time. I hope WatchOS will fix the bug fix in this update.
