    Coach Rhule never misses! Regardless of the record this year we have a coach with long term vision and real character. The players will take on that same mentality in due time.

      No he didn't. Art Briles made Baylor a powerhouse and was winning. Fhule came in after Briles because of the scandal. Come on be serious man.

    Listen to me Huskernation. Since the good especially great coaches tend to win quickly we might as well fire Rhule after year 2 if he doesn't have this team bursting wide open into something special. Because when you look at 95% of the good coaches out there they've all won quickly. Saban at everywhere he's been, Urban Meyer, Lincoln Riley, Kirby at UGA, Jeff Brohm who just won the West at Purdue of all places which was a program that was a free win before he got there, Bielema at Illinois, Fickel at Cincinnati, Harbaugh at Michigan, Brian Kelly at LSU, Day at OSU, Tom Osborne, Bob Devaney, etc. Good coaches always have their team bursting out the gate being really good by year 1 or 2! If it takes longer than that to do anything special especially just to make a bowl game then that's the biggest sign you either have a terrible coach or just an average one which is a guaranteed way to end up fired here at Nebraska.

  • @realtalk3567
    @realtalk3567 ปีที่แล้ว

    He'll need to win big in either year 1 or year 2. This is a must because every great coach has their team humming strong bursting out of no where by that time such as Lincoln Riley, Kirby, Saban, Urban, Brohm at Purdue, Beilema at Illinois, Osborne, Devaney, and so on. If he doesn't have the team humming super strong in these 2 years then most likely he ends up fired because although it won't guarantee he's terrible it'll basically guarantee he's not great and no none-great coach has ever not been fired here in the last handful of decades evidenced by guys like Bo and Solich even being let go. He needs to be great in order to survive here especially against teams like OSU, Michigan, PSU, Wisconsin, Oregon, Washington, USC, etc.

  • @realtalk3567
    @realtalk3567 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Think about this Huskernation. Can you possibly see Matt Rhule giving an interview on how he beat Ohio State? On how he beat Michigan? On how he beat Penn State? On How he beat USC? On how he beat Oregon? On how he beat Wisconsin? Now notice I just named nearly half the freaking Big 10 right there and you don't even see any of the scenarios I just laid out for you happening and you expect this dude to get 9 or 10 wins a year and build good or great program here? You think he's the guy that's going to fix Nebraska with that in front of him? Do you see why I'm so mad now?

  • @karstensbran1751
    @karstensbran1751 ปีที่แล้ว

    Good Dodge. Lets TALK about wining football games here and now. We all love our parents and family, too, but we don't get paid 74 Million. All of the good Nebraskans should get Millions too, and it's okay if we cant win football games either. Good excuse for not winning football games for the Huskers.

  • @realtalk3567
    @realtalk3567 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm not saying Rhule is terrible, but I am saying I don't think he's great and thus won't survive here. You need to be great in order to survive here because just good will get you fired. You must have a start to your tenure here as Saban with Bama, Kirby with UGA, Riley with USC, Day with OSU, Harbaugh with Michigan, Osborne with Nebraska, Devaney with Nebraska, Kelly with LSU, etc or else you will be eaten alive and fired really quickly going against teams like OSU, Michigan, PSU, USC, Oregon, Wisconsin, etc here in the Big 10. Great coaches always start off exceptionally strong and tend to keep it there. If Rhule shows no signs of this straight out the gate like they do, might as well cross him off and look for the next coach.

  • @robertnoble6600

    Bad or average coaches always got this whole list of excuses on why they can't win year 1, 2, 3 and beyond. Meanwhile good coaches only have a whole list of reasons why they keep winning and they tend to win quick! Good coaches literally win even when it doesn't even make sense! Same thing for bad coaches who lose when it doesn't make sense. All Rhule is going to do is blame this and that player, coach, year, other team, time, luck, etc until we finally freaking realize he's not any good by lets say year 3. This is what you get when you hire none great coaches every single gosh darn time. That's literally all that's about to happen. First you'll come up with the excuses for him, then he'll come up with his own and it's always why he's not winning instead of why he keeps on winning. Same stuff different coach and you all wonder why I'm so mad before his tenure even starts.
