As a note: Isochron scepter says on the card that you "cast the copy" so guttersnipe would have triggered. Different than other cards that say "copy target instant" which I'm sure everyone is more used to seeing.
My guess is John knows black market is “choose one” and would have died…but he’s such a grimy baby I’m sure he skirted around it…even him taking Jeremy’s chair but throwing the biggest fit when Corey wanted to sit in the other seat is a huge BM
Black market connections is a choose one, so John would have to pay one life and would die after the trigger, he would just play one less spell on Jeremy’s turn and it would play out basically the same but it’s important to know that it’s not a may.
100% Jon dies to Black Market Connections with one life since he has to choose atleast one mode in his upkeep. It is illegal to not choose a mode with it. So he has to loose atleast one life. Stephen had this game with 40 Power on the board! @Stephen you should catch this easy in the replay, how Jon cheats 😮. And since Stephen played @Corey’s deck, he should get points too
Hey maybe someone knows this but what happens if the Player controlling another player's turn Dies while in control of that turn? Do things John put on the Stack as Jeremy Resolve? also Jon Died 2nd.
102.6a When a player leaves the game, all objects owned by that player leave the game and any change-of-control effects, which give that player control of any objects end. Then, if there are any objects still controlled by that player, those objects leave the game
@@cameronneveu7277Jeremy still controls any of the spells and abilities that are put on the stack during the Mindslaver turn, John just controlled Jeremy during that turn.
Black Market Connection is NOT a may. you MUST choose at least one. so, Jon would be dead after taking Jeremy's turn. and then Stephen had enough damage for Jeremy
Suarez the cheater strikes again. Conveniently forgetting the mandatory life loss trigger from Black Market Connections, which he himself has pointed out to other players before.
So why did john go for the kill on corey when he arguably has the weakest if not tied with the weakest board state? They complain about how stephen gets away with being first all the time and say heavy is the crown but just let him skirk by all the time. sometimes it does feel like corey or jeremy get targeted down for no reason.
The old Isocron Scepter must not read like it does now because now it says "copy the imprinted spell, then you may cast it" which would trigger Guttersnipe.
Need to rig Justin parnel on skipe from an ipad duct taped to a broom stick at the table. He takes stephen's spot for an episode, but Stephen act's as Justin's Hands and does all the physical actions for him in the game (Drawing, shuffling, etc.)
I will love to watch a progenitus penta color deck. That acctually kill with him. I have one. I dare you guys to create a better one. And without expensive cards... well maybe a few expensives. XD
Remember how you play your cards. Jon, just happened to forget black market connection is not on May. Hopefully points wise they correct this in the future
I find it hard to believe that a seasoned mtg player, who has probably played with Black Market Connections more than most viewers, "missed" the trigger that would have killed him.
People are saying John should’ve died to black market connections when he lost 2 life from Jeska’s will, when he shouldn’t have. He was at 11 life then after Jeska’s will dropped to 9. Meaning he would actually have 3 life on his turn, but yea ig people who don’t like John just wanna not see that.

Black market connections requires you to select "one or more" :)
Yeah John killed himself
Yeah that means officially Stephen won. Because Jeremy wouldn't have an answer for 36 power amongst 9 bodies.
Well if only there were three other players, including a pro Corey, at the table who could also read the cards.
Yea Jon likes to cheat
The scepter does cast the copy, it counts for storm as well
John you would have died to black market connections it's not a may
Correct
I kinda like how it played out regardless tho
I'm glad Jeremy got a win, it's been a while
John stays cheating I swear.
@@Skream1185biggest cheater at the table, and the quickest to whine.

Typical Suarez - conveniently forgetting rules (cheating) & being a cry baby hypocrite. Everyone else has fun; Jon just wants to win.
When you guys misplay card rules you should get negative points it will help you play better although Cory would always be in last
sorry, but I'm with Corey on that art of David Tennant looking like Charlie Sheen
Fog count as an extra point for saving Jeremy??? I think it should.
he saved himself aswell, so no
Isochron scepter allows you to cast the copy damage would have been done
black market connections requires you to choose at least one option!

Some people watch Friends and Big Bang Theory, I watch the boys hand out body bags on a weekly basis.
Did Jeremy drop a unbleeped F-bomb at 52:14???
Underrated Intimidator banter ❤

18:00 from day 1 preview of the 10th Doctor, I thought it looked like Charlie
I agree with Cory! That doctors looks like Charlie Sheen!

he couldn't do anything to Stephen, and taking out Corey ensured him at least 1 more point because then John wouldn't die first
Can you give an update on Justin?
Will he come back one day or at least for a feature episode? All the best to him and his family!

The black market connections misplay…
Steven being the only mature person in the beginning of the episode was a welcome surprise : D
I will love to watch a progenitus penta color deck. That acctually kill with him. I have one. I dare you guys to create a better one. And without expensive cards... well maybe a few expensives. XD
the only time a copy is not cast is when it is copied on the stack
I didn’t know Steven was a fan of hcs! that’s sick!
Cant wait to see the shorts for this episode
I'm sure many others have said this, but Jon should've died. You HAVE to choose at least 1 mode for Commections.
Corey reminds me of Drew from Office Space.
Great game, thanks for the laughs 😂
Glad you enjoyed!
Do commanders need to be resubmitted from time to time?
Did they have Blanka trigger off of the Jeska’s Will? Is that supposed to happen?
They did not, someone mentioned it, but it was refuted as it didn’t target.
Is the title wrong?
Seems like it
It most certainly is
The Tenth Doctor art looks like a mix of Charlie Sheen and Michael Jay Fox.
48:00 good slap

Great game guys!!!
Corey, I sent you a list for Kami of the Crescent Moon. Stop playing Jeremy decks and get caked up with Kami! 🌙
That was a fast and fun game. Nevermind the missplays thats part of the game. People are always smarty pants when watching. ❤
That was a GOOD slap sound
Welp. Mr. Green should have won, but oh well.
Jon should lose 1-2 points for the search
Number of GRVs in the game?
Dozens.
But at least Jeremy won.
But he only did so because John cast darkness when he should of been dead
Stephen really should have won this one.
Shouldn't John have died to black market connections lol?
I find it hard to believe that a seasoned mtg player, who has probably played with Black Market Connections more than most viewers, "missed" the trigger that would have killed him.

That's pretty bad that that happened. Changed the outcome of the game for sure

My boy Steven definitely got robbed this game. JUDGE!
Jon dies at the start of his turn. Connections isnt a may, you have to lose life. I've died to it too many times on Arena.
So many points does John lose for cheating? It's so obvious this game it really effected my enjoyment of the content
next time sac all of his lands!
Cheaters should get no points for finishing place.
I love seeing Stephen Green's "angry I lost and want to waste everyone's time" face
Jon is the biggest cheat on camera
If you like Mindslaver I got a Muldrotha list that can make enough mana and cast it twice a turn from the graveyard
Ive been on Team Corey until the bombshell that he said that David Tennant looks like Charlie Sheen.... He is now my sworn enemy. Go Team Green.
They never played my deck’s because they hate boros
same but for my new foray into monocolour
I stopped watching when Jon didn't die to his own card. 1:07:56
So, almost at the end of the video?
Can’t believe we went from VS live to this hot pile of garbage
Womp womp
