I installed the rear track bar relocation bracket today, it didn't go on as easy as it did in the video. I really had to pull on it to line up the holes to insert the bolts. Once I got it on though it looked really good.
How about this: Remove track bar and CA bolt while on the ground, place bracket into position and install all bolts and U-bolt (leaving track bar disconnected), then wiggle your Jeep side to side to center the axle and insert track bar bolt?
hi - i loved your vid on putting on the monster forged trackbar - i have an '07 jeep wrangler. i was hoping it would get rid of my death wobble. i feel like it has helped a little - but the DW is still there. will this rear trackbar install help rid the death wobble? thanks :)
Yes, even more so. The bracket is designed to help correct the angle of the track bar and reduce rear axle bump steer, along with reinforcing the factory bracket.
@@galacticstarsgaming3638 If your rear axle is shifted to the driver side, moving to the lowest hole will shift over to the passenger side. We like to use a ratchet strap and go around the axle to the frame. Remove the axle side trackbar nut and tension up until you can remove the bolt. then keep ratchetting toward the driver side until it lines up with a lower hole. Re-install and check for centering. It should be better, but is rarely perfect without an adjustable trackbar.
I installed the regular Teraflex 2.5" kit with springs and shock adapters. Do I also need this bracket also? How well does it improve the handling of the JK? Thanks.
I own 2015 jeep wrangler jk (right hand drive) and I purchased a teraflex stage 3 lift kit. when installing the lift kit everything went well other than the rear track bar bracket did not fit. i checked the video, according to it my jeep track bar bracket is in the opposite side. do you have any track bar bracket that will fit my one?
I had teraflex 2.5" coil spring lift installed that came with rear axle bracket. After the lift jeeps both axles shifted to the left(driver side) by 1/2" or so. This video says that the bracket centers the axle, but in my case it didn't help. My body had RE 2.5" lift installed a week before mine and his are perfectly centered. Is this practice normal for teraflex lift kits?
@@galacticstarsgaming3638 Your axles will shift toward the side that the trackbar is connected to the frame. Front would shift driver and rear would shift passenger. The brackets are designed to help re-center the axles as best they can only do so much. Depending on the overall lift height gained, accessories added, and specific weight for that vehicle the shift will be different for every vehicle. You will not be able to perfectly center an axle without an adjustable trackbar. The brackets will get them close, but not perfect. It is ok to have them a little offset, but if they are way off I would consider an adjustable trackbar. Give us a call anytime and we can go into more detail. 801-713-3314

Do you need to use this bracket if you are not using a stock track bar and using the Teraflex adjustable track bar ?

so my rear end seems to be slightly more to the driver side what do I do? put the sway bar to the very bottom hole?

Yes, it sure will. You will want to remove the frame side drop bracket if you install this axle side one.
