Just got my 2021 yxz xtr yesterday and as a person that owns a 99banshee,92 blaster,a Yamaha vmax and now the yxz y’all went above and beyond yet again...pure Yamaha badass as expected only my yxz scares the hell outta me and I love every minute of it!!!!well done Yamaha me and my family are over 50 years of die hard use and abuse for 3 generations of my family and from all of us we say thanks for being part of our lives caz I’m for real every off road moment in my 45 years a badass Yamaha has been there!!!!!
Anyone know what starting upgrades are to be done I have full exhaust but now what?? And I’m not after turbo atm I mean what can I do to open up what’s already there but hidden
Yamaha should make watching this mandatory BEFORE purchase. Bunch of dumbasses buying them and burning through the clutches like crazy. Then you’ve got people who know how to use a clutch with 3000 miles on the stock one.
@@dannymendez489 i think it's like any manual car, just that this one has a sequential gearbox, then you still have to use the clutch to upshift and downshift
@Tommy Ealey that is good to know, I said that because in the video you can see how he uses the clutch for every change, also that's what he said in the video. Do you have a SS version?
Yes shift with the clutch these transmissions are not like a mx bike or atv's shifting with no clutch or power shifting can fry the clutch completely meaning you would need new plates springs etc. What's makes them so much more sensitive is the fact that these sxs engines are putting out well over 100hp stock so shifting like that is just asking for problems.😂
It’s badass but my thought is do I really want to worry about shifting when I am on the side of a dune and I know how to fix a simple belt but I don’t know how to fix that Tranmission when it breaks
Do you want to? That's up to you. Many prefer it. As for fixing, theoretically this tranny should be more reliable than a CVT if you actually know how to drive it.. and a CVT throwing a belt is different than a CVT breaking.. The manual can break and so can the CVT.

Yes this is where it’s at. I can’t believe Polaris has can’t came out with a manual transmission yet.
They don’t make them properly even the YXZ, so I built one

I drove a 2016 and climbed up everything we could find with ease
This is awesome but I still want an H-pattern lol
Hey at least you aren’t stuck with a paddle shifter😂
A clutchless shifter would be nice for doing quick technical stuff too
@@mclaynebalzly1739 you can shift without the clutch..
@@b789har oh badass
@@mclaynebalzly1739 you really cant tho
Awesome machine!
Are you’ll going to do anything new the the yxz for 2022 or 2023
Once moving do you need to clutch gears or just bang them?
2:28 you have to use the clutch
Ricardo Sarmiento L. I know how to drive manual is this the same thing? It seems like he’s just hitting the shifter down
