I remember the big flood in 1968. I was a young lad then living next to the river chew. We lost everything that night. Including our pet donkey who was found days later in stanton drew. The donkey was a present to us kids from.our Dad a few years before he died. 😢The villagers chip together and they got us a new baby donkey.
