Honestly one of the best yet worst feelings ever. Everyone despises school because we go there five days a week (six days for some countries) and we are taught subjects that we won’t even use in the future, but that can be debatable. I will miss school though and I’m graduating from university in July (Germany). My friends all go to the same university as I do and once we graduate together we all part ways. It’s so upsetting for me, I feel like I haven’t spent enough time with them. I’m a pretty likable person and I don’t ever want to leave my friends, but they have to. I respect their decisions, but it’s going to be very difficult for me to cope and get over. Edit: I have graduated a month ago already, and I expected parting ways with my friends to be a lot more emotional. Maybe it’s because I spent time with them alongside family all at once before graduation? I still feel connected with them and I’m so glad that I was able to be a part of their lives while we were still together. Honestly one of the best yet worst feelings ever. Everyone despises school because we go there five days a week (six days for some countries) and we are taught subjects that we won’t even use in the future, but that can be debatable. I will miss school though and I’m graduating from university in July (Germany). My friends all go to the same university as I do and once we graduate together we all part ways. It’s so upsetting for me, I feel like I haven’t spent enough time with them. I’m a pretty likable person and I don’t ever want to leave my friends, but they have to. I respect their decisions, but it’s going to be very difficult for me to cope and get over.
Edit: I have graduated a month ago already, and I expected parting ways with my friends to be a lot more emotional. Maybe it’s because I spent time with them alongside family all at once before graduation? I still feel connected with them and I’m so glad that I was able to be a part of their lives while we were still together.
Now I am currently in Ukraine, typing this stupid edit in trhe middle of the night. It’s not as bad as they say it is here. But whenever I think about them, I feel so alone and disconnected.
To anyone who reads this comment, or returns to it, please: spend as much time as you can with friends and family. It’s worth it. It’s amazing if your friends are all going to the same college or school that you’re going to, but trust me that’s very rare. Spend as much time with them before you’re unable to see them in person everyday as you’re used to. ❤
