If you are off-duty... or better... active-duty with enhanced situational awareness... I may invite you into my home... BUT... as a civilian... You are more like a lone-wolf to me... you may be the most kind-hearted sheepdog... but no-one really knows anyone's intentions brother... so YOUR intentions as a civilian are irrelevant... no badge no trust... so I would NEVER let you carry into my home... I have better situational awareness in my space... and if you whipped out a firearm in my home... no matter how good your judgment... you'd be in big trouble. ONLY AUTHORIZED POLICE AND MILITIA SHOULD BE ALLOWED CARRY! If you don't trust the authorities in our democracy then why don't you earn your badge to legitimately protect the sheep who do... or maybe you like being a lone wolf?

This is probably the dumbest comment I’ve read in the last several days.
      “Authorized police and militia”
Give me a break. You sound like Dakota Meyer.
Guarantee you, there are “civilians” out in the U.S. today that would dominate you in every aspect of shooting, moving, and communicating. Don’t confuse the lard ass you see at Home Depot with a real prepared citizen who takes their rights and responsibilities seriously.

The great thing about edc is that they're all different. It's whatever we each feel comfortable carrying around in our pockets. I like to watch edc pocket dumps just to see what everybody has, and at times I see something that I adopt that I hadn't thought of before.

My uncle was in WW2 and the Vietnam war. When I was 8-9yrs old he gave me his P-38 l still have it. When l have to go to a place where I can't carry my 45acp. I carry my 380. I've only been caught once with a metal detector carrying the 380 in a no gun zone out of 20+yrs. And the officer told me to put it back in my vehicle. I love the new version of the video.

I really liked the good honest EDC video. EDC many time is dictated by where and how far from home you are going. The thing I do to stay consistent in my EDC is to carry the same items in my pants every day. Change pants, switch over the items. Left pocket, TAC pen, lighter, cell phone and flashlight, right pocket folding knife. Cargo pocket, small Maxpedition pouch with many different items. Front of pants, appendix carried Glock 19X and mag. This system means I always know what I have with me. The 19X, not always comfortable, but I like knowing I have a higher capacity weapon should I need in 9mm. I'm almost 70 yrs old now. Have been carrying a weapon since the age of 24 every day, so I used to it. I'm in decent shape, so concealing the glock is not a problem. Depending on where I'm going, sometimes a tourniquet on my belt. Always have get home and med kit (plus a whole bunch of other crap) in the vehicle. Thanks for provoking thought.

Honestly though I carry a flashlight, small clip goes on my pocket left pocket. My sidearm with a spare magazine, a folding pocket knife with a clip in my right pocket. My single hand open Gerber multi-tool a right in the rain notepad a watch. A few years ago I made it a habit to carry a flashlight with me. It's amazing how much I use a flashlight now that I always have one. Something for you guys to think about. I use the o light brand. Very bright and has been durable for the few years. I have carried it.

I got these little tins off Amazon here a while back. They are slightly larger than a mini Altoids tin. I keep some Duct tape, some light bank line, two bandaids with Neosporin on them, a tiny tube of super glue, wood matches w/ a striker, some heavy thread and a seeing needle. I keep it wrapped up with two hair rubber bands because girlfriend. It is tiny, fits well in my fifth pocket of my jeans and is useful often. You might try something like that. I would like for someone I trust to ask me to show a pocket dump. I think most EDC fans would be surprised. I frequently carry the LCP Max or a DB-9. Sometimes I have my Shield Arms modified 43x. Everything in my pockets have some multi functional tool/survival features. My belt and boot laces also. I'm constantly trying to work out ways to improve the kit I always have. I recently added a medium sized compressed cotton towel for being able to dry and clean myself, cutting into toilet paper, bandages, water silt filtration and fire starting and whatever else you can think of just for example.

Lumber pencils, like you have don't roll away. And the wood is dry tinder. They used to make a front pocket pouch for things like your .380 that would disguise the fact that you were carrying.
What's in my pockets? I'm wearing jeans, t shirt and a hoodie. Dumping pockets theres; keys, dogtag and small ferro rod on a keyring. Wallet with ID and 2 p38s. Maglite silhouette, Victorinox knife, boxcutter, lighter, sun clock / compass (Swedish) , cheepie lids pencil sharpener, pen. You didn't count your phone and camera gear, so I'm not counting the tools and such that are in my pockets from working in the shop :-D They wouldn't always be there.
I really think that we should count our phones, though. Even if they're dead there's lot of stuff to salvage from them. For instance, without even opening the back, you can most likely conjure a fish hook from what you see and glass is harder than steel, so broken glass should sharpen knives if not be your knife.
BTW the pencil sharpener also sharpens sticks, great tinder. And it's a sharp edge that will likely get through a search.
    Oh I forgot! Great Video!!!

I'm in Canada, near your state (I think). They make me protect myself from wild animals that smell like rotting meat with swords near conservations areas. I just watched the Federal government and the US government team up to bust the handgun store that would sell to me in the news. They won't sell me OD green polyester concealed carry hoodies at the military store and Im not even carrying, just wanted the polyester hoodie. I can no longer go for hikes in most areas with wild animals anymore. It's amazing to see you having a concealed carry right. I have the ability to get into contested areas but the government guards them with animals.

Great video and the concept is spot on. I have a Sig P320 that my son gave me that has all his USS Santa Fe stuff on it, it's great but I run an LC-9 for the same reason you do, compliance to have something is better than not having and because it's from the boy it's sentimental and I would hate to have it rotting mistreated till I get it back if I have to use it.

Its not cumbersome if you go lightweight with kit, and spread it across your body. You can easily cover the 5 c's and then some. Knowledge trumps kit every time but, kit can make life so much easier. But Stoker the FBI says 12-18in's of penetration and the 380 is underpowereddddd! lmao new 380 rounds are getting impressive I carry a souped up P365XL. I have considered swapping to something in 380.

great video, again. Good carry package, LOVE having a pencil and pad, Thank you dollar tree. Suggestion to you and all, I just cannot bring myself to carry one of my medium/large SOG or GERBER or Leatherman, so I have gravitated thru trial and error of the micro tools to the Leatherman Micra. Always sits in the left front pocket on a laynard. Daily uses; FINGERNAILS that have chipped etc from work, scissor for material, paper and Fingernails again, small screw drivers for glasses grips screws etc etc, I actually bought a cheapo Ozark trail(?) less than 3 inch serrated folder that is very lightweight for cutting the cordage , cardboard , open amazon etc to relieve wear and tear on my CRKT OLD Crawford Falcon; 18 plus years now. Ebay for used micra ! already picked up two like new at 14 bucks each!

Here in the uk ,carrying any item for the purpose of self defense .

I rarely carry more than a blade, my pistol, and my wallet on me. My phone is for scrolling on the toilet. The pistol I carry most often is a small Shield 2.0. I'm a blade smith, so my blade of choice is always changing. I have more knives than sense.

Nothing wrong with carrying a small pocket gun, like a 380. I still have an old Keltec P32. We call them “get off me guns”…it’s not a “stand your ground” gun. Be ready to run to safer ground after using it, which isn’t a bad idea anyway.
