Really appreciate all the comparisons. I picked up the BB in Mica and just love it. The Guerlain MadEyes are a favourite of mine as well - was hoping they'd come out with some new ones for the summer.
I feel like Mica looks greenish on me - I guess I prefer something more brown, or bronze, but I can’t describe it. I wish I had gotten Espresso instead. Oh well. It’s not bad but it doesn’t bring out my blue eyes. My favorite simple one color bronze shade is Burberry Pale Copper, but they discontinued it - ugh!
Lexi, I love all your looks showing the Bobbi Brown shadows! They look beautiful and easy to apply. I have LM, By Terry, and Sisley but will definitely try some of the Bobbi Brown. I love the shades you picked up. Thank you for the comparison and swatches!! Always so helpful! 😊🌺
Great, detailed comparison video. As someone with oily lids, I find the Laura Mercier don't last as long on me as the Bobbi Brown. I wish BB still did the long wear cream eyeshadow pots they were truly long lasting, came in so many shades and finishes too.

I think it would be pretty on lm-m skin if you like something subtle. I think the peach glow is another great option if you want a touch more color but I think both of those shades will work.

Thank you Jane. I use the Sisley as all over shadow personally but they are nice for a smudgy eyeliner too. I purchase my Guerlain from the Guerlain website typicallly. They should be in the US in a few months so I am waiting.
Thank Lexi! I ordered the new Chanel nail polish in the white shade. I didn’t order any other because they are similar to the earlier drop of paler shades in the formerly-called Le Blanc line. I think I’d like to try the cuticle oil and new base because of your recommendation!

@@LexiJong hope your day is going well! As a fellow Chanelophile, I think the new nail products are fine. I’m glad they’ve expanded their nail care line. The cuticle oil is nice but I don’t think it performs better than my argon oil, and the latter is cheaper (plus you can use it under your eyes and in your hair). La Base camellia is nice but I can’t tell yet if it’s better than the OG La Base. I’ll continue to see. I hope everyone who tries these understands that you must use a little nail polish remover only to remove the oil from the nail before you app,y La Base Camellia, then follow with nail color (or not). Today I’m just wearing the cuticle oil (without removing it from the nails) with only La Base Camellia to see if it works well.
How do you keep moonstone from falling out glitter everywhere? Just a light coat? Do you use a primer? It seems to do better over powder than bare skin for me, but I’m still playing with it. I got that one, Mica and Smoky Topaz and can’t decide if I love them. I wish they hadn’t discontinued their pot shadows - DOUBLE the product for the same price. And honestly overall better colors. Like Cement and Stone - not the same colors even though some are the same. I do love Sand Dune, Vanilla, Taupe, Golden Bronze (the pot one was more brown and darker), Stone, and Truffle - I tried some of the newer “Nudes” like Cashew and Shore they pulled weird undertones on me. Bobbi always discontinues my favorite products. So do a lot of brands. Their pot corrector is my favorite but the updated stick one is drier (on me). I have so many cream shadows I have to LOVE them to be worth it - curious if these layer or feel heavy if you do, since they’re metallic? Don’t want my texture to be enhanced. Are any of the BB similar to Charlotte Tilbury Oyster Pearl? If Mica is, then I’ll skip it - Chocolate Bronze is gorgeous!
I don't think these feel heavy but I would say they are a light to moderate weight on the lids. Mica is the closest to Oyster Pearl and I would say they are close enough that you don't need both. I don't know why buy my moonstone shade really just doesn't seem to shed glitter. i use the viseart primer underneath but that is really more of a smoothing product than a grippy product. I really wish brands would stop changing and discontinuing so many good products!
@@LexiJong thanks that helps a lot. I changed my mind about Moonstone and like it more when I put it over powder eyeshadow as a pop of shimmer. I think on bare skin it fell out a lot. I look at it in my magnifying mirror and it has the most beautiful reflect - way more complex than just gold - almost more silvery pearl - usually magnifying mirrors show clunky texture on my lids but this is smooth. Also now I know to skip Oyster Pearl - I don’t love the odd color and it doesn’t do anything for my eye color. Just not unique enough. I feel it’s more dupable than other colors especially Moonstone.

Thank you Sukhi! I love the mica shade personally. I haven't used Nails Inc in years but I used to buy their magnetic polishes back when they first came out. I should try them out again sometime. If you already bought a white, you don't need another but I'm not the best one to speak as I bought it after having the gucci myself. lol

Yeah the nails Inc 15 second base coat & top coat are really quick to dry, good and last - am half way through them so that's why I was thinking of getting the Chanel Camellia base and gel top coats, though they're more pricey. I have 2 Chanel polishes and love them. 😀

HINT: I like your "arm of many colors" like Jacobs "coat of many colors" from the Bible! ha ha! good review, and its a good thing when you are doing these reviews, if you wear foundation, blush, bronzer n lipstick as a preliminary step, or at least a fair amt of powder on your face bc otherwise its very shiny and very distracting from what you are showing the viewer, looks like youve just completed a marathon or something!

Mica is definitely a favorite! I haven’t heard anything about summer makeup from Guerlain (aside from the bronzers before). So odd!

Do you think the quartz glow highlighter would look good on LM-M skin with neutral/warm undertone skin?

I would LOVE to see if you can dupe the new Chantecaille eye and cheek in Ray - I can’t work out if it’s a unique product. It looks very smooth.

For me they last slightly longer than the Dior. I find the Chanel and Gucci are the longest lasting for me.
