So interesting, I've never had to wear a mask in day to day life. I sometimes wear a mask at work when my asthma is really bad as I work in a dusty environment.
i have asthma too and i sometimes wear a mask in public whenever someone in front of me is smoking a cigarette or something but people always give me weird looks kjsdshd so im always uncomfortable wearing them eventho it's literally for my health lol but im happy to see someone else with asthma also does this, it makes me feel very valid tbh

There is little to no enforced regulation of pollution that production factories emit (the waters near and running through cities are polluted badly as well). The air quality in and around China is a prime example of what happens when there is no environmental regulation over businesses.
Okay I think the masks have a nice aesthetic to them but it is sad that they are needed in some places. The strangest thing to me is that I've seen the masks with a vent and filter marketed in my country. Finland. A place which is very known for clean air everywhere. I guess the trend and/or dust is making its way here too

I have pretty bad pollen allergies that affects my airways so having a mask at hand for spring is probably not a bad idea. For now I may have to look into trying to make one or just use a bandanna if my town gets to the point where it’s needed to wear a mask to go grocery shopping. My town is small and this far seem to be relatively sheltered from the pandemic despite being not far from larger cities

I went to Korea for the first time a couple months ago. And I was surprised by the air. I even got a little sick from it. But couldn’t find good masks to wear that worked, looked good and actually fit my western nose 😂😭
The fall is better but even then...i got sick and my skin reacted to it as well when i was in seoul. My aunt lives in ilsan and the air was much better there.
do you have to keep re-buying filters for it? As for price, though, it honestly would eventually save you money from having to re-buy all the convenience store ones, so it totally seems worth it!
