Here is an advice from a European working in Germany. Learn. The. Language. This video, even though nicely made and with good intentions is not going to help any of you looking to work and live here. Sure, you might land a job on english. But without German you will always be on the sideline in the company. You will not be a part of their group. You will not be invited to gatherings outside of work. You will hardly actually become friends with them. And therefore you will not create the most optimal environment for you to progress in the company. You will never be given the most important tasks and you will most probably stay on the bottom. Sure you will now think of a counter-example as those surely exist. But I am talking in general. In the end, what does your lack of will to learn the language of the country you are living in say about you? That you are not able to get out of your comfort zone when tackling difficulties. And who wants to hire a person like that? On top of that, since you guys are coming from a very different culture, integration is anyhow a problem. Do not make it harder for you by not knowing the language. So start learning it, it is not as hard as it might come across.
Thats actually pretty surreal... I've seen lots and lots of people having leading positions in well known german companies I've been working at tho they've been born in other countries and they were not speaking fluent german!
This is one of the best video in your channel. Such information really helps aspiring job seekers who want to work in Germany but doesn't know the language.
I am only finding software people who have moved to Germany. What about core engineers like Mechanical etc. Please suggest the job websites for the core fields too.
I almost imagined I can too and I believe it will be easy given my skillsets. But when I actually started visualising myself there, there ran a chill down the spine of loneliness.Leaving my family behind for no reason for them to feel a void. Then actually being in a foreign country without friends. I will assume that colleagues can't be friends. Not sure if Pankaj or any other guy gave this thought or will like to know their views on how emotionally satisfied they're. Worthy to mention the dates/partner
Hey, this is my story as well, everything is almost same. About the experience, interviews, motivation, education, etc etc. I’m moving to Berlin in January 2020, for me, right now the most concern thing is to get a temp/permanent rented house, where I could do anmeldung.
Wow!! 1. quality of video was amazing. It was pro 2. Content of the video was excellent. Highly helpful 3. I wish this video seen by as many aspirant as possible. I don't know about others but I came to this video by accident
Wow! what an amazing video. It changed my life and though process to move to Germany to work and settle over there. Thank you so much for this wonderful and helpful video.
I work in Swiss without German knowledge but i speak French fluently. In Swiss the tax is about 25% similar to USA. We have people who have MBA work in software development. RESTful service is the way to go now
Hi @MensPRO ! One additional info I want to know I you could please provide. Question is: if someone got selected by a visa sponsor IT company as explained in this video, after that what is the process of getting a VISA? What about Appointment in Embassy and all the related process. Can you please ask Pankaj or create a new Video regarding VISA process if selected by a VISA sponsor company. I Greatly Appreciate your help.
I know German; German +English is what referred to as a branch of old English languages that was once one so not hard to pick one up once you know the other. French +Spanish +Portugese another branch. It's also easier to learn it in the environment.
Most Non English West Europeans can speak English, especially the younger population. It's not like China,Russia,Japan where even the younger generations do not speak English atall or can speak only a little bit of English. Even in India all formal communication in an IT company takes place in English. Knowing Computer languages should be enough for an IT job in Germany.
Thank you sir ,I am your big fan, i have completed my B.E.(Computer Science) i belong to a poor family ,bt i want to come Germany for ms but the biggest problem for me is 8000 euro ,for this money i have to work and save money .but now i will also try for a job directly, Thank you so much, i hope u will more videos..
Thanks both of you to share such a great information to get job Germany. Specially Thanks to Pankaj to his personal and interview experience. I will register on the website suggested by you. Thanks a lot bro.. God bless you.
Thanks for making this very informative video. It is very helpful to me and also brings hope for those who are trying to get tech jobs in Germany. Keep up the good work guys!
Very informative and useful video for a huge audience dreaming of working abroad but cannot afford masters. Thanks Pankaj and MensPro for sharing this!

This is a very helpful video. I have been trying to do the same thing as Pankaj did. I am a SAP consultant. I really like the approach he took to get a job in Germany. May you could help me out too. Thanx. :)
As he gave example that around 42% of your salary will really be deducted in tax?... because if someone is earning around 50k then half of the salary will go in tax
No mention of whether the college degree he earned in India is acknowledged in Germany? I'm wondering if the college degree you have actually matters once you already have a job offer.
@menspro I have received an offer from a German company in Munich I’m a BSC(IT) graduate from Mumbai. What are the things I need to do to secure the job visa. I have been given 2 months to get the visa process done. Please guide me. Thanks a lot.
Can u plz post a video on publishing jobs in Germany like editorial manager, production editor, managing editor, publishing manager etc. i am experiencing with 10+ years in publishing industry. i also know that we have springer, Elsevier there so video on that will be much appreciated.
Hi Niklesh. I am a non tech person from logistics, supply chain and distribution sector. Am 42 years and have 8 years experience working for a German company in dubai. As the market in dubai is very bad, am thinking of coming to Germany on a jobseekers visa. What are my chances of getting a visa. I have basic German understanding and am planning to give my A2 level certification. Thanks
He would be saving approx 6-7 lac INR per year I don't understand the point of going there.. Just for 6-7 lac per year.. if you come to India every year then basically hardly itl be 5 lac per year I'd rather try in India itself.. Taxes and property rates are high in Germany..
He said he is a backend developer and just mentioned Python. But he didn't speak in detail - how much python, are there any other lang he is working on, what about mean stack, react.js
I didn't understand the Tax deductions part. We have to pay 42% of our salary to the state? So that leaves a guy with 45k annual with a 26k annualy. Is that it?
Pravin Vedurla Nay. 42 % is the highest taxation percentage and that is for income above around 55 thousand euros. There are tax calculators available on the Internet. It is a progressive system with tax exempt amounts. With 45k per annum you have tax of arround 10k.
Super informative. Though, I've seen lots of platforms like the ones that have support with visa and relocation that seek only for tech type of jobs (not administrative or customer service kind of jobs) ☹️
Hi... I have seen a lot of your videos in TH-cam.. it was very informative...I have a query regarding opportunities in pega in Germany... could you please let me know if there more job opportunities on SAP or Pega

Hi, your videos are really helpful. Thanks for creating such an amazing content. I have a Software Engineer with a job offer from Spain but the salary is half of what I am currently making in SaudiArabia. I will consider only consider this job if it is possible to move and switch job to Germany from Spain once I am Spain. Can you please guide me if it easier to move to Germany from Spain experience or otherwise I should stay where I am. Waiting for your response.
Good video. However having German language knowledge accelerates more job opportunities. Makes your personal life much easier to integrate outside of work. In my honest opinion, atleast basic knowledge would help.
As he mentions that we have to find a employer who sponsors visa ? Is that mean that company applies for visa for a person sitting back in India ?? Sorry if I misunderstood
