Separate Ways seems to be a gift to fans of the original. I felt very nostalgic for the cloudy gray village and its various atmospheres. I also liked the main game as a modern remake.
It honestly makes me so mad that pretty much all of the village sequence takes place in the morning/sunset. The dark cloudy village is what makes the og so unsettling. There are parts of the remake where the village actually looks quite peacefully and beautiful with the sun beaming down on you
@@johnnyhickey1312I agree the OG was much more unsettling. Remake had some parts that kinda had me on edge, but it’s only for the initial play through. Even og re4 serenity to me was slightly unsettling.
I never even played the original yet this theme just... Makes me feel things that i can't even put into words... It's so beautiful. They did a phenomenal job with the music!!
@@rahulshah6624 same. I teared up immediately when this song played on the remake. There’s a rain version of the original RE4 serenity on TH-cam. I played it and just had a nostalgia moment for a few minutes.
@@Alex-uq1el Ashley does say something related to the merchant, since in the castle when you collect treasures she will say "Are you going to sell what you found?"
I feel like this one hits close to nostalgia, the mixes of old music with it is apparent, it does feel like a bringer to the early 2000 vibes, i truly enjoyed it
I loved this DLC so much, played through twice already. This music is definitely gonna make tear up when I listen to it again after a few month break, I’m sure of it.
First time when i met the merchant as Ada i heard this track and i just sat in awe for hearing serenity again took me a couple of minutes before i went on to buy something and then i heard the beat kick in and i gotta say that was the best part for me in the entire game
I love how this new theme fits Ada perfectly and Leon's overall theme in the remake. Leon is more somber and believes he is not the same anymore, but Ada knows he is still the same when it comes to what matters. She also believes she is still the same, but something clearly did change inside her when she met Leon in Racoon City, even though she still going her old ways. This time around, she at least shows she would like Leon to join her even though she already knows he won't because he knows there is something shady and finally cut ties with her, only to Ada have a change of heart soon after her call with Wesker. Everything she can do now is look through the window as Leon goes on his own path, knowing she can't follow.
So happy with this version Serenity, it's become my morning 420 track to start the day off right. Takes me back to a time when life was easier, and the joy I got from playing re4 in 2005.
@@benjammin5252 I mean that I wish this theme was used as a save room theme and not the merchant theme. The lack of save room music in r4make was one of my main gripes with the game as a save room theme is a staple of the series and this remake is the first RE game i can think of that excluded it. I know they just repurposed it as the merchant theme, but if youve played any other RE game its just not the same yknow?
@@_dibbsdidn’t bother me idk 🤷♂️ but I was also bothered by tiny things in other aspects. All in all solid 10/10 for me with minor complains for the base game.

Can you do the typewriter/save theme, chapter end screen (ada theme), credits music (ada theme v2) and menu music? No one has edited it properly like you, they keep recording in gameplay
The main game has a great OST, but I think this tops it for me. This track is perfect. For Ada, for the game, as a reminder of what 2005 sounded like...
Why couldn’t you make it like that right away? In the main game there is no connection with the original, and here, at least you can hear notes from the original game
Main theme starts at 1:39
Некоторые моменты напоминают тему Sinister
thanks

yea, the typewriter theme too! This DLC was full of nostalgia
I love the remake version of Leon's version tho

This theme literally screams nostalgia. It's perfect...
I just love that distortion in the background. Its very lush. I dont think any other theme could capture Ada better.
I love the way the music changes and goes more intense when you want to make a deal inside the merchant’s options ❤️
Yeah I'm a big fan of it too.
Sort of gives a John Wick vibe to it
Wait huh? It was dynamic like Dying Light 2? It wasnt like that for me atleast on PS4

Same. Best version of this 🎵
When I found the merchant and heard this it brought me back to 18 years ago. So loyal to the original. Feels.
Fun fact: Ada is the first character to chat with the Merchant directly.
Leon acknowledges him when he first sees him.
Ashley never says anything to or even about the merchant.
Ada properly speaks to him, even if briefly.

Great theme. Man I love the music from the RE series.
This versions way better bros, the trumpet brings it all together
❤Best version of this awesome song!
simply wonderful, Leon's campaign had a crazy good ost already, but they outdid themselves with SW

1 hour extended please this theme sounds so amazing
i love how wesker says it as "LOO-WYS" and ada says it as "LOO-WEES". such a small detail but so much more immersive

Yes but typewriter is better with Leon
Can't wait for this shit to be up in my spotify playlists ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
They should’ve had this one for Leon and have it play in the room instead of in the merchant menu
Awesome 👍♥️
"Got a selection of good things on sale stranger!"

Sounds better than Leon's merchant theme. This sounds like a...spy theme, something like.
It’s magnificent
Why does this track energize me in the gym more than rock music does? 😎
Too good!!!
Oh bruh, heavenly...
They actually remixed To Burble and Pine this time 😂
