@@M3L82 lol steroids don’t create fake muscle. They boost testosterone to insanely high levels and muscle mass grows faster and recovers quicker. People taking them are at risk of getting tendon tears because the muscle grows faster than the tendons does.

When he got shot in 2020, the DA ruled it an accidental shooting. It started as a road rage incident and ended with Chris being tased. When the taser hit him, one of the probes missed Chris and hit another cop in the knee. When the cop got hit with the taser, he accidentally pulled the trigger of his gun, and Chris was hit. He was shot in the shoulder and continued to try to leave until complying and getting medical attention.

Yeah no. That seems very suspect to me. Like how do you accidentally pull a trigger of your gun like that? Like your finger should be away from the trigger unless you intend to shoot the gun.
I would understand if it’s a couple people goofing around and not being careful, but in this situation, why was the officers finger on that trigger in the first place? I know road rage incidents can get out of hand, but usually you don’t need a gun to de-escalate things.
Maybe I’m missing something, but how can it taser misfire like that? I thought you had to be like super close to your target or something like that.

@@BlinkOnWheels a taser typically (at least the police issued ones) has 2 barbs. The barbs are on two separate wires independent of one another. This is why sometimes one sticks but the other doesn’t. So it is likely one hit its target, but the other passed him and hit the other officer who was behind him. This could be because the cop that fired the taser was too far from him, or it could have just been slightly off, or the man moved when they fired, so one stuck and the other either just grazed him or went past him.
Tasers deal an intense electric shock, not a tickle. It’s not a good time. So when the officer got shot with the taser his whole body would have immediately tensed up, and if they had their weapons drawn (which makes sense given how aggressive and unpredictable the man is) the officer would have pulled the trigger when he got electrocuted as his body tensed.
Also I’m sure there was body camera to confirm these events considering they’re wearing body cameras now which is how we have this footage to begin with.

As a Veteran I have to say that you have no idea how little help we get from the VA. I had a knee surgery and then messed my back up and all the VA DOCS did was put me on painkillers and turn me into an addict. I went to the doc and told them I didn’t want to take 6 or more pills for pain every day and was told can’t do anything to help you out. That’s what happens at the VA. As a Veteran I know THIS MAN needs help and all you see is how he is acting not the pain I see in him. I’m not saying it’s ok for him to behave like this what you need to do is take a step back and look at it from a Vets view. You have no idea how many times Veterans get treated like we shouldn’t behave this way or that. Sometimes you have so much going on inside your head that you can’t control what you do or say. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE CHRIS.

Honestly props to the cops for coming into this with sympathy without using unnecessary force or just straight up arresting him. Things like this actually help people get better.
I watched the full body cam of this he got special treatment because his brother is also a police officer, the way he acted if it was anyone esle they would of pepper sprayed him and tazed him. Special treatment as always for officers and family members. Plus them using excuse that he used to be in military, many men and women who have served don't behave like this.

As someone that's had a recent head injury (it was on April 1st of this year), I can attest to the fact that they make you act even more batshit insane (if you already had mental health issues) or just not yourself. I felt high as hell without being on anything 😂 It was WILD.
Chris probably couldn't even tell how loud he was being or what time it was (I know I had to look at a clock often to know that because time felt wonky). I'd had been a pretty mild concussion with a possible brain bruising (I had fallen on a bamboo wooden floor head first), so I have no idea how bad Chris' head was hurt
I DO know that my social filter was gone for a month after the head injury occured 😂 Which freaked out everyone around me as they got to see what my mind is like 24/7 (I filter out a lot of my own BS for my friends and family cause I know I can be a lot to handle, so this was new to them). It's funny now but when I was going through it, it was sometimes scary for me too. I have schizophrenia/BPD and it made had made my hallucinations much more intense o.o Like... I normally see things watching me out of the corner of my eye, or I hear someone whisper something to me, or feel something brush against my legs that turns out not to be real.... During my concussion, I was seeing shadow people standing in the room with me or some creature staring at me ftom a corner. Needless to say, pretty fucked up things that normal folks and myself don't usually see 😅 I don't know how much was my mental illnesses/my imagination and how much was brain injury at this point

And I'm much better now! My head injury took about a month to heal but I'm back to my 'normal' hallucinations (which is nice cause feeling like God is 'talking to you' is TERIFYING, which is what sent me into the looney bin for a week o.o). If that phsychosis episode taught me anything, it was that I'm a very sick puppy but not dangerous to anyone, even off of my meds 😂
Still, I made a few friends in there that were all going through something similar to me and have a better outlook on my life as a result (the reason for the mental breakdown was because of a lot of factors happening at once) ^-^ For anyone afraid to 'go into the looney bin'? Don't be, the staff is there to help you and make you feel better by the time you leave. And do the activies in there as well! It may seem stupid but those group therapy sessions are there for a reason!

Imagine a world where cops handled all situations like this. They were calm. They weren't yelling at him. They weren't telling him to get on his knees or the ground. They weren't bending him in weird angles to put cuffs on him. I mean they only did that because his brother is a cop....but still shows you that you can handle a situation without being all guns blazing.

It helps when you bring the whole department against one person. Usually when police encounters get violent the officer is alone or in a pair and they are on the home turf of the suspect, feeling vulnerable.
Do you honestly think that anytime cops are called that they just show up and fire guns for no reason? They get told what the situation is and act according when they show up. In this situation they could have been told by his brother that he wouldn’t hurt anyone and he is just having an episode . We don’t know the full situation. Cops just don’t shoot guns because they feel like it

I work in brain injury research and this is honestly a great teaching moment. Some of the biggest areas that people continue to struggle with, years - even decades - after moderate or severe brain injuries - are impulse control and emotional regulation... and they are far more likely to end up using drugs recreationally because of those impairments. From there it's a vicious cycle of those drugs further impairing their judgment, cognition, and ability to behaviorally and emotionally regulate. I just thought it was worth adding this context to the discussion, because while it does not excuse or negate the impact of his actions, it does hopefully better explain why he is seemingly so 'all over the place' - it is really just him struggling with impulse control and trying to self-correct after he says something socially inappropriate.

She has to survive on Tylenol. I can't even imagine. My heart goes out to everyone with chronic pain. It's so debilitating. Gotta keep our spirits up. We've all gotten this far. Why give up now? As someone who’s in the military, I agree with Ken. Just cause you served, doesn’t make you special. The “veteran” card is just a laminated Victim card.
Guys like this are way more emotional then they would ever let on, in fact they just act on their emotions instead of thinking about consequences, which usually lands them in trouble.
To be fair, we are told constantly that it is healthy and normal to express emotions.

Sad dude. I feel like somewhere locked deep behind the brain injury and drugs is a decent respectful dude. Every once in a while you could see it try and peak through as he interacted with them. Fortunately he didn’t get violent and the officers were great at not escalating things. Probably has a lot to do with his brother being an officer.

@rmf176 lol don't feel stupid, I was watching and noticed he had the blood pressure thing on his arm and wondered why, then it made that noise and I realised that was where it came from, I have my blood pressure check a lot, l had it checked yesterday in fact, and the thing makes the same noise when I move and when the air starts to inflate it. I feel really bad for this guy, can't even make fun of him tbh :( my uncle has PTSD from serving in the Army he was in Iraq and he struggles a lot, it hurts to watch and be unable to do anything about to help. And then you feel guilty for being scared of them when they're experiencing an episode where they dont know where they are or whats going on😢🥺
I hope this man gets better, I hope with all my soul 🥺 the substances would make his symptoms 15x worse and more unpredictable and delusional. This is so common, it's actually the case with 50% of veterans 😭😭

Ken, TBI is some serious stuff. I've known plenty I served with that got brain injuries from being blown up, followed by some PTSD and its not pretty. You can have a god loving responsible man turn into a demon. Had one guy that was married, had a dog, a good life and well respected within our ranks get blown up... he wasn't the same after. He went from loved to hated. Drugs, alcohol and more drugs seem to always follow. TBI changes you. I don't blame this man for taking all the shit he did.

@@keanuweaves2209 Yes. I had an older friend, a cpl years ago, who got an umbilical hernia from lifting too many heavy things. Such as too many bags of grocery bags.
He had to have an operation to tuck his intestines back behind the perforated muscles. Then that patched the muscles back together with mesh.
Lucky for him it was done with small incisions and using cameras and such.
