- This is the new NayonLanding, and it is one of the greatest infrastructure projects in the Philippines. It's architectural design is mainly focused on the culture of the country, therefore making it a place where foreigners need not look away but can discover everything within it. However, it is a project filled with controversies.

The project could open up huge employment for the area in Manila and surrounding areas....it’s time for pinas to grow and grow big changes are needed for the people there 👍🏻😉❤️

This is a very good project, but was cancelled. I just hope that this project will push through in the next administration. Itutuloy daw ito pero ibang area na pero sa entertainment city pa rin .

They should have maximize the height of building so that the land in Manila Bay will be maximized as well.
Buildings in this area is restricted to a max height considerations because of the airport nearby.
Please do another video why it was cancelled and why it would hurt filipino? How can a resort hotel that focused itself on promoting philippine culture plus employing hundreds of local entertainers be bad for us?
When will the constructions start?
Construction does not have an official date yet as Landing Corportation needs to find new land because their former contract was cancelled

President Duterte not only canceled the project he also fired the Nayong Pilipino president and some other executives was involved of conducting the luxury project granting the contract up to 50 years.

They will build the Nayong Pilipino but not the first deal. The reason President Duterte canceled the deal and fired the head of Nayong Pilipino and others involved of the one-sided contract.

You should give better context on why it was canceled if you're going to bring up the topic cuz you leave space for wrong assumptions. Canceling the project was the right thing to do as it would hurt the philippines in the long run.

The people hired to handle the project went and hired a company without the Swiss challenge and turns out that they made a bad deal where the said company would own the nayonlanding for upwards of 25 years and have provisions of owning it for another 70 years. That means the Philippines wouldn't get money from it for like almost 100 years.
Not to mention that they leased the land for dirt cheap when its considered a prime area.
In contrast, cebu's isla de la Victoria which is a private company promised to give the land back to cebu after 50 years of operation. And 10% for the entire operation
@@nico77212 : I was able to google the side of the Nayong Pilipino Foundation (NPF). According to NPF, the term of the lease for the project is for *25 years* starting from the date of execution of the lease contract and not 70 years as alleged by critics.
Also monthly rentals were pegged at P360 per square meter, *which is more than double* the _initial_ P150 per square meter rental.
It turns out duts based his decision on a _draft contract_ when he should have considered the *final contract* .
After comparing sides, it seems NPF is more believable.

Cuz anything above 10years and atleas a hectar of land should go to a bidding process which they neglected and in fact, they even tried to revoke that rule just so they could get away with it. And even started construction even after the denial of proposal. So you believe what you want to believe but the evidence is staring right in front of you.
@@nico77212 : The rule requiring public bidding for land bigger than a hectare to be leased for more than 10 years is based on a memorandum circular by pnoy in 2013. FYI, Pnoy's memorandum circular has been *revoked* by Memorandum Circular No 2018-02. Dilawan ka pala! 😂😂😂😂
