Ubisoft fucked up when they decided it made sense to offer a non lethal option to players but didn’t reflect this in cutscenes or any of Brigg’s sections. Like great you sneak through the whole embassy without being seen but now you still have to operate a drone to kill a dozen pursuing vehicles, especially when those pursuing aren’t actually the “baddies” just people defending their sovereignty. The gameplay is great but the plot and how it intertwines with the gameplay needed more work.
The general consensus seems to be that after that cutscene you must reload the checkpoint and then knockout *every* enemy in the rest of the mission to get undetected. I'm not sure how that changes anything, but that's what the majority of people seem to be saying.
Fact of the day: The rank insignia on Ali Rohani's jacket would indicate that, within the ranking system of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, he holds the rank of Second Brigadier General! :)
I can't remember if I did get through the server room without knocking anyone out in perfectionist. But if I did, it was probably on realist. Damn, I hate this mission.
The only way to know if the undetected check box is marked before completing the mission is hearing the alarm on the prision area. If it actually stops, the undetected box is marked. That only happens if you get up the pipe really fast. At least, that's what people says, I won't try it since I don't want to waste time with the classic Ubisoft bug fest.
The Heavy Infantry is almost as BS as the dogs. Their peripheral vision is ridiculous, even more with the Riot Shield Infantry. They shouldn't have anywhere near full sight range.
This mission is bugged or obtuse when it comes to the Undetected challenge. It seems that you need to get Panther points in order to get Undetected, People who have gotten it (on PC, at least) have had to savescum the prison ambush a lot and took out everyone coming into the server room ASAP. Another person also suggested that maybe the final guard and dog being in certain positions may be contributing to the undetected challenge not being marked as clear. In short: we're pretty sure it's an error.
I was kind of hoping this mission would be similar to the Defense Ministry or CIA missions of the first game. So much for that. Apparently gamers these days can't handle a real stealth game.
