Not just the women - what about the chef who sabotaged her dish and stole her recipe? What about the hotel manager who kept promising her a raise if she did thus and so, she did it, and he withheld the bonus/pay raise he promised her and he did this repeatedly - the same manager who kept firing her and then, when his arse was in the frying pan, hired her back to save himself? What about that same manager making her work around the clock making dishes to please this 'potential' buyer of the hotel when he had a full staff who could have been helping her out but he left her alone to prep, cook, serve to the point of exhaustion? What about Fussy Lu's brother who baited her, used her, manipulated her and practically ruined her reputation and didn't give a fig about it because it served his higher purpose in besting his brother? Sure, Fussy Lu got back at him business-wise, but she never reaped any benefits of that revenge. Did that younger brother ever even apologize for what he did to her all those months - leading her on making her believe she was helping Fussy Lu? What about the old man who got her grandfather a private hospital room and led her to think it was paid in full when it wasn't paid at all? It isn't just the women in this drama who need a slap in the face with a chair.
