Hi I have a similar build but with a 6750xt and I’m having problems booting up games like fortnite and valorant. My psu is a Corsair rm650 do you think that might be the issue?
I don't recall. Typically when I do a build, I'll use a LAN connection for initial setup. Update all drivers, install needed software, then worry about Wi-fi when I'm finishing up.
Yo man does this board fits the Lian Li O11Dynamic Mini Snow edition? Great video btw, idk why there's not much video of this board, also the B650M Pro RS WIFI
It goes in the lower left corner, the manual will show which is the proper port. You download the BIOS, rename it "CREATIVE.ROM", move it to the root folder of your USB, hold down the flashback button, the small green light inside the flashback button will start flashing indicating it is working, let it do it's job, takes a few minutes. After it is done flashing, it will remain a solid color, at that point, your BIOS is now updated. On the first boot, give it a minute, the PC will need to retrain itself. It should then kick on and post, do all this WITHOUT the GPU inserted. Use the board's onboard video port for easier diagnostics.
Any issues so far with the build? Planning on getting this mobo for a build with a 7800x3d and 7900xtx; its the only mobo I can find thats AM5 micro atx and silver on black 😂. Can’t find any videos on this motherboard either they are all about the cheaper version with only 2 ram slots.
It's been a rock solid build so far. My son loves it. Quick boot time, excellent game play, zero bottleneck when paired with that 6700 XT. Perfect wi-fi signal, lots of M.2 slots and USB. I mean, it's a fantastic buy. Sure you could step up to a 650 series or better and get a bit more performance out of it, but for what it is, the A620 boards work just as well and come with some great features. I absolutely recommend this board.
@@phreakwars Awesome to here man! Glad your son loves it; awesome of you to build it for him. My friends told me not to spend a lot on motherboards because they all do the same thing basically, do you know if I'd see a significant increase in performance if I bought a 650 series? If you don't know that's all good you've helped plenty already :)
@@sebastianedwards6731 During the initial test and boot, I could only get 1 stick to run. I then did a BIOS flashback to the newest BIOS, and it all worked just fine for me.
you should've made him build it himself. He won't learn if you keep doing it for him... Or at least make him sit there and watch and you can teach him.
I'm about to get a similar build, but i was planning to go with the ASRock B650M Pro RS Wifi. The problem is I can't find any reviews of it and the 2 people who evaluated it on Newegg graded it bad. 🥲
His has been 100% solid since I built it. Glitched a bit at first, but after the BIOS update, solid as a rock. B650M is the same board with a different chipset, yes, would recommend that board as well.
I build a new pc use the same mobo whit a 8600g, but have some Issue . Cpu led and dram leds turn on solid red
Neat. Does that board support any type of PBO or undervolting??
I'm honestly not sure, I haven't delved into the BIOS too much on it.
Actually No bcoz its 620 chipset so it doesn't support anytype of cpu oc but it do supports xmp and expo for ram oc..

Hi I'm new to building PCs I wondering how you manage to insert the RX 6700 xt into the motherboard slot ( same as yours)
how many fans can you add

It's a Matx so if ur case is matx it should fit
How do you update bios? And which usb drive to insert it?

i was planning on istalling 10 case fans

This board pretty solid

@@phreakwars I wanted to ask does the 4 sticks of DDR5 ram mess up at all ?

He has Autism. Both of my 2 youngest who live at home have Autism.
@@phreakwars Even more reason to sit with and teach them. Kids with Autism can be just as capable...
